Hi everyone. A quick note regarding Covid-19...

In a world of ever changing government guidelines i’m striving to keep on adapting and therefore will not provide food for greater numbers than is legally allowed. I’ll be focusing more on boxes at the minute and will be able to provide individually boxed graze boxes for socially distanced meetings/events. I’ll still be taking bookings for events but for any booking that has to be postponed I will allow the deposit to be transferred to a booking at a later date (with no time limit restrictions) or I’ll provide platters or boxes to the value of your deposit if you are still going ahead with a smaller gathering. Please note that I regret deposits are non refundable in all circumstances.

So I’ve got some news...The Yorkshire Grazing Company will be rebranding as Seven Hills Grazing.

When I first started this back in April. I wanted a name that was simple and did what it said on the tin. “You want a grazing company in Yorkshire. Look no further than this”. I researched it, saw it was available and everything seemed fine. Months past and I set up under the name, created email/ social accounts, domains, branded items etc and thought that was it. The one thing I didn’t do was register it on companies house as I intended to be a sole trader...🙃

Fast forward 3 months to the week I decided to “officially” launch which also happened to be the same week someone else registered the name I had been using as a limited company.... And this is when the problems for me began...

After seeking legal advice from a fabulous IP lawyer (seriously if anyone needs one of these I’ve got a great contact now😂) I found I could continue to trade under The Yorkshire Grazing Co as it wasn’t trade marked but there would always be confusion as two businesses in the same region would have the same name.

I have therefore made the decision to completely rebrand. I knew when I started this it wasn’t going to be easy but losing my company name was a challenge I didn’t expect to have to face and honestly it was a tad disheartening.

I know this post has been long but I wanted to thank everyone for the support so far. (And for the new name suggestions 😂 ) I’ve got some great events booked for the future and those clients have been notified of the rebrand. I’m so passionate about this business and I’m confident everything is now in place to get Yorkshire grazing as Seven Hills Grazing.
