Hello,

Thank you for the follow! I'm Sherman Logan, happily married to Dinasy for over 15 years, raising three beautiful kids – Michael, McKenzie, and our newest addition, Matthew. Originally from Virginia, we're now proud residents of St. Charles, Missouri.

My culinary journey started early, experimenting in the kitchen while my mom was at work. Despite considering a career as a chef in high school, my passion for football took the lead. Yet, my love for cooking persisted.

Upon moving to Texas in 2015, I discovered my knack for grilling, captivating friends with various grilled delights from my trusty char-broil grill. In 2019, I delved into smoking, opting for the Old Country Brazos offset smoker after thorough research.

From experimenting with woods to mastering cuts of meat, my love for smoking is a rich history. The result? Tender, moist meats smoked with genuine passion. Whether it's ribs, brisket, chicken, or more, let me know if you're craving finger-licking goodness – I promise you won't be disappointed.

Hey there,

Thanks for the follow. I appreciate your support. Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Sherman Logan. My wife, Dinasy and I have been together for 15+ years with our three beautiful kids, Michael, McKenzie, and our newest addition Matthew. Currently, we are residents in St. Charles Missouri, but originally from Virginia.

I found my love for food at a young age, experimenting in the kitchen while my mom was at work. I started playing football when I was 9 years old, so I had this insatiable appetite as a growing kid.

I thought I wanted to be a chef in high school but I decided to follow my other passion, football, instead. But I never stopped cooking.

When we moved to Texas in 2015, that is where I picked up grilling. I was grilling on my char-broil grill every weekend. We started hosting gatherings with friends and everyone really loved the different grilled meats I was providing. In 2019 I began researching different types of smokers seeing which would best fit my style, and liking. I then decided to go with the Old Country Brazos offset smoker.

I began experimenting with different woods, and cuts of meats, and really it’s just been history from there. I love everything about smoking meats, and you can taste it in the meats I smoke. They are tender, moist and smoked with love. You can’t go wrong with that. If you are looking for some finger licking good ribs, brisket, chicken, or anything else let me know, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
