One year ago on this very day, I had the privilege of uniting Kiara and Alan in wedded bliss. Today, I was honored to preside over their vow renewal.

We’ll have a new picture soon to do a ‘Then and Now’. I thought we all looked good last year, but today was Glow-Up x 3!

I was just contacted by a sales rep for a major wedding website for an ad buy that would give me ‘priority placement and search visibility’.

After seeing the story on Channel 5, I am offering my officiating services FOR FREE through the end of 2020 to any LGBTQ+ couples who feel the need to make sure they can be married legally before things may change.

I would be happy to help you, and I mean full ceremony, not just signing paperwork for legal purposes. You deserve nothing less.

I'd been working together with this couple planning a wedding for next year when they messaged me and told me that love couldn't wait. I'm not one to disagree with that sentiment, so last weekend, we gathered in a park for an intimate and beautiful ceremony. It's been a pleasure to get to know Alan and Kiara through all of our conversations and from the vows that they wrote for each other. I'm honored to have been a part of this chapter in their lives.

It's been a while since I posted anything here, but it's been anything but slow! Recently, I've had the privilege of marrying Breanna and Joe, Laura and LaTricia, Mackenzie and Harrison, and Alicia and Dan got to renew their vows! In the coming weeks, I will get to officiate weddings for Gabriel and Rachelle, Jeffrey and Allie, Tay and John, and Ashlee and Adam!

I decided to post this picture today because it's important to show that I can officially solemnize marriages in the State of Ohio. Just being ordained is not enough, and that's something I want to make sure everyone knows.

An old friend reached out to me this morning to see if I could help his friends. They still wanted to get married, even though all their wedding plans were canceled due to the pandemic.

8 hours after he reached out, I was standing in a park (properly social distanced), officiating a simple ceremony so that this couple could make their commitment official in the eyes of the law.

The ability to be a part of one of the best days of someone’s life is something I take very seriously.

I’m grateful for that privilege.
