We don’t shy away from challenges here at Mango Pie. So when it came to creating this bespoke, hand painted light up table, we jumped in head first! Hand-painted on Perspex and lined with LED strips, this was created in-house by Mango Pie end-to-end. This design was inspired by the vibrant, bold colours used by Gaugin, and was complimented beautifully by the bright yellow blooms 🌼

Wedmin Sunday’s can be super stressful, so here’s a public service announcement for all of you brides and grooms who are freaking out about the workload ahead of you.
It can be crazy overwhelming planning a wedding, you’re trying to do the right thing and keep so many people happy, but in doing so sometimes loose sight of what makes you happy. The pressure is immense and sometimes that results in wedding resentment or simply wanting to get back into bed and cry.
Firstly, you are not alone. Secondly, do the easy stuff. The rest will follow. And finally, remember why you’re getting married. It’s not a show, it’s a party to celebrate the coming together of two people who want to share their lives. Make it personal and about the two of you as a couple.

This is Mandy the day before her wedding. Mandy has been running Mango Pie for the last 11 years. Mind you she may have had a helping paw from Slinks every now and then! Turning a ticket hall into a reception space in 40 minutes... Here’s a snapshot of one of our event set ups at the National Portrait Gallery which we themed around the Gainsborough exhibition. We wanted the design of the event to be similar in style to the exhibition, hence the gold bar, 18th century floral display and textured lighting to the walls. As always, a lot of thought went into every detail.

Getting the pictures through from Will & Jose’s wedding absolutely made my week... isn’t the second picture just AMAZING! It was our total pleasure to plan their special day, we enjoyed it so much.
