🌈 🌈 Roxbury's 1st Pride Day is right around the corner! June 3rd from 10am-1pm. 🌈 🌈 Please try to RSVP at https://www.roxburynjpride.com/ It's ok if you don't. This just helps with planning.

🚗 PARKING - Parking will ONLY be available on Main Street and at the Lincoln Roosevelt & Franklin Lots on Meeker Street. If you par on Meeker, you'll have to walk through the cemetery to get to the event. Library parking lots will be blocked off, as will the church lot itself.
⛪ LOCATION - The entire event is located in the First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna parking lot, in between the church and the library.
🌧️ WEATHER - There will likely be some light showers on Saturday morning. Please dress appropriately. The parking lot loves puddles, so wear your wellies!
EVENT INFO:
Pride is about kindness. It's about love and acceptance of others regardless of ethnicity, ability, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Those are the themes of Roxbury's Pride Day which are more important than ever considering the correlation that lack of kindness, love and acceptance can have on the bullying experienced by young people and those in all walks of life.
Roxbury's Pride Day was born out of a desire to show that hate has no home in Roxbury, and that all of us deserve kindness....that we all deserve to feel pride in who we are.

The Roxbury Rotary Club and Interact Club are taking part in Roxbury's 1st Pride Day this Saturday, June 3rd from 10am-1pm. RSVP at https://roxburynjpride.com

Roxbury Rotary Club is a service organization in Roxbury Township. Their motto is "service above self," a deeply held belief by all their members. Rotary raises money all year long to support scholarships, Social Services, scout projects, and so much more.

The Interact Club in Roxbury is a High School service organization that aims to raise money for families and businesses in need, as well as spread positivity with their kindness initiative.

The Roxbury Woman's Club is taking part in Roxbury's 1st Pride Day this Saturday, June 3rd from 10am-1pm. RSVP at https://roxburynjpride.com

The Roxbury Woman's Club is a group of volunteer women working on projects and programs designed to encourage interest in education in local, national and world affairs, and in the betterment of our community. Their members volunteer their time and talents to help enhance the lives of others.

They have dedicated more than 60 years of service to their community, having been founded in 1959. Any woman over the age of 18 is invited to join them for fun and friendship, while performing valuable community service and expanding their knowledge. Members from all walks of life come from Roxbury as well as the surrounding areas, including Mt. Arlington, Mine Hill, Netcong, Chester and Randolph.

The Roxbury Area Chamber of Commerce is another organization taking part in Roxbury's 1st Pride Day this Saturday, June 3rd!

Roxbury Area Chamber of Commerce has been providing local businesses with a voice for over three decades. With over 100 businesses and organizations as members, the RACC strengthens, enhances, and protects local business interests.

The chamber also sponsors several events a year including The Taste of Roxbury, multi-chamber events, Town-wide Garage & Yard Sales, and a Business Expo which provides participants with an opportunity to market their goods and services to potential customers.

Community efforts are a key way in which the Chamber stays involved! The chamber maintains a fund to help when individuals and families are in need, for when disaster strikes, or for other worthy causes deemed appropriate by the board. The chamber also sponsors an annual Santa Project which promotes good will and helps the less fortunate during the holiday season.

The chamber is actively involved in local legislative and community issues promoting the cooperation of government agencies and working toward a harmonious and sound economic business environment. By remaining involved in local legislation, they provide business owners with a voice in government and community issues which may impact commerce and trade.

Rain or shine, Pride is taking place in Roxbury this Saturday from 10am-1pm on the First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna parking lot! In the event of heavy rain, we'll move the event indoors to the library.

Common Grounds is another organization taking part in Roxbury's 1st Pride Day this Saturday, June 3rd!

Common Grounds NJ is locally run right here in Roxbury. They collaborate with local community institutions to provide diverse & inclusive programs to neighbors.

Thank you, Roxbury Arts Alliance, for joining us at Roxbury's first pride event this Saturday!

The Roxbury Arts Alliance is a volunteer group that has been promoting the arts in and around Roxbury Township, New Jersey since 1997. What began with occasional performances in coffee houses and local houses of worship by several parents of Roxbury High School students has evolved into year-round programming, classes, and performances. In 2009, they opened The Investors Bank Theater, now home to the Roxbury Performing Arts Center.

Ferro Monte Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution!
Members of the Ferro Monte Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), are women a lot like you. Their common bond is their lineal descent from Patriots of the American Revolutionary War. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove this lineage is eligible to join

Another addition to Roxbury's 1st ever Pride event this week, Morris County 4-H! Morris County is an inclusive and welcoming community. 4‑H is America’s largest and longest standing youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people with the life skills to lead and change. For more than 100 years, 4‑H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better.

We couldn't be happier to welcome such a wonderful organization that does so much good!!
