It’s with a heavy heart that I want to let you know we have decided to discontinue Wedding Guide] magazine and podcast.

It’s been a passion project of mine for the past few years and with my other businesses growing (Ang ⋒] & ) I haven’t had time to give Wedding Guide] the attention it deserves.

We feel so fortunate to have helped so many couples plan their weddings and I look forward to inspiring and providing information over at Ang ⋒] 🥂🤍

You will also still be able to purchase the magazine while supplies last.

Thank you for all of your support and to everyone that helped make this passion project a success 🫶

In our latest Wedding Guide magazine, Kim and Jorgie (AKA-photo posing masters!) spill some hot tips to make the experience of taking photos a fun one for everyone involved!

One tip they share… is to not overthink it! The more you overthink, the more unnatural the photos will be. Also… listen to your photographer! They are there to help guide you through the process and make posing for photos more fun!

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue! 💙

Have you ever wondered where this tradition came from, and what it means?!

Well, let us tell you! This tradition came out of England in the Victorian era with the intention of bringing luck to the bride on her wedding day! And, it’s still a tradition we see at weddings today, along with so many others!

Did you know that the “something blue” came from blue being the color of love, purity, modesty and faithfulness?!

There are so many wedding traditions that are still common today that have a ton of history behind them!

The wedding ring is worn on this finger because it was believed that a vein ran directly from your heart to there. Also, symbolizing your love for one another. So sweet, right?! ☺️

Our top 3 tips for the morning of your wedding:

1) eat a good meal and hydrate. Your morning flies by and this is often overlooked. Make sure to plan a meal as well as drink lots water to keep you going throughout your day.

2) make sure your getting ready location is tidy and has lots of natural light. Assign that OCD bridesmaid or groomsmen of yours to keep on top of this! Also, make sure your curtains and blinds are open to let as much natural light in as possible! This helps your hair and makeup team as well as the photographer and videographer.

3) schedule a 15-20 minute cushion time after you’re done getting ready and before you have to head out for your ceremony or first look. Let’s face it - there is usually something that comes up last minute that requires your time (or your morning takes longer than expected), so it is good to allot some time for this. AND if you’re running on schedule - amazing - use this time to take a breath and maybe have a mimosa! 🥂

So, you received a wedding invite in the mail! AWESOME!!!

But...have you ever considered how to be a “good” guest at a wedding?

Here's a few tips:

1) RSVP! We are all busy, but the couple needs to know whether or not you plan on attending to continue with the planning process of their day.

2) Give a gift from their registry or give the gift of money. Yes, toasters are nice, but let's face it - most couples live together before tying the knot and probably already have most household items. Do not assume when buying a gift, trust what they have on their registry or give cash.

3) Put your phone down during important times (during the ceremony, entrance, first dances etc.) and really take those moments in.
