FEELING BLESSED!

3 Community Service Providers have secured an episode each of our TV Show "Gone Walkabout" for their community in 2024!

This means that we only have 2 more episodes available for community organisations or service providers to secure, before we can help you share your communities stories and showcase it to the world!

2024 is shaping up to be one of the biggest, boldest and bravest years on record for Team Walkabout Barber!

"Gone Walkabout"

We are seeking expressions of interest from community service providers or community organisations who are interested in funding and hosting us in your community to film one of our episodes of our very own TV Show "Gone Walkabout".

Filming would take place over 3 days, which would entail the following:

Day 1:

- Breakfast with community.
- Haircuts (filming and recording the stories of the local men)
- Beauty (filming and recording the stories of the local women)
- Filming of your local community, highlighting what that towns famous for and meeting the locals.
- Dinner with the community.

Day 2

- Master interviews outside of the bus. Focusing on 2 storytellers who received a cut or a beauty service.
- Filming of sacred/special sites of significance.
- Bush tucker cook up!

Day 3

- Community wellbeing workshop.
- Community healing circle.
- Community concert/show off dance with invited special music artist to celebrate our visit with community.

Costings: YES THERE IS A COST!

(Costings will be proposed and signed off on through episode negotiations with contractor)

The hosting community organisation or community service provider would fund their very own community visit, which would pay for the following.

- Dedicated TV episode.
- Logo and Promotion
- Team travel & food expenses
- Team accomodation
- Haircut services
- Beauty services
- Film crew
- Sound team
- Editing team
- Concert, Artist, Stage hire.

Once dedicated episode is complete for each community, a community screening of that episode would take place from a local venue to showcase the beauty, the stories and the characters from that community. All episodes would also go live on all of our socials on the night of each screening.

We will only be filming 5 episodes so that means only 5 communities will get the chance for us to put your town on the map WALKABOUT STYLE!
