One of our favorite events of 2024 happened outside of Aspen collaborating with which is one of our favorite experiential dining pop-ups we have long admired.

Guests arrived to a beautiful open field, set tables, gorgeous views, a dreamy cocktail hour with small bites as well as introductions and then sat down for a five course dinner inspired by all of our favorite things about late spring: green garlic, fragrant herbs, crisp asparagus, sour green tomatoes, buttery radishes and sweet baby roots.

June was one of our busiest months last season and this dinner primed us for the start of that wild, early summer ride.

The incredible joined us and took such special photos that we feel like really captured the feeling and tastes of the day.

We are looking forward to more like this in 2025.

We wanted to ask- does anyone look at their email this week? 😅 We are diligently working through all of your inquiries, even during these two weeks of family and gathering at the end of the year, though we are also grateful for the time with our loved ones as things slow down during these colder, dark days.

Looking back on a really special dinner for and their whole crew at the end of 2023 that we helped put on with our beloved friends - and remembering that it’s always a good time to slow down and gather the people you love around a table. We were so excited to create a meal for the Farm Runners crew because they aggregate all the west slope farm goods for us all season long and make our business as farm-focused event chefs very possible. 🫶🏻

Thanks to everyone who follows along and supports FS; you mean the world to us. Wishing everyone a very happy end of year, warm holidays with the people you love and delicious food to eat in their company.

This time of the year as the weather gets chillier we finally slow down on events and get back into the office- we catch up with new inquiries (thank you for your patience) and reflect on the fun we had.

This picture of at our second dinner in October really sums up so much of the 2024 team vibe.

Our little company is out here in full swing and we wanted to thank our wonderful staff who drives all over with us to cook in both blazing sun and pouring rain- and also just say how we are in the last few weeks of the high season: it’s beautiful, it’s delicious, it’s always an adventure (challenge) and we are happy to be doing it with such amazing folks alongside us.

Heirloom tomato and melon gazpacho with a chile and cucumber ice cube- to keep it extra cold on a hot hot day thanks to special help from ❤️ who specializes in gorgeous cubes and garnishes 🥰 we LOVE how much fun we get to have collabing every season- lucky us!

Come see us on October 2nd or on October 20 for our last ticketed dinners of the 2024 season, we will be serving up some magic with our favorite people.

We have been having so much fun (creatively, professionally, personally) with our ticketed dinners this season. Check out these gorgeous moments that .lahood caught with us at the end of July.

We are still grasping the last bits of the warm season and wanting to keep dining outside while enjoying the late harvest and crisper air.

We still have some ticketed events coming up!
The first is October 2nd we will be and there is still some space at the table. We would love to see you! Wine and beer sales from this event will benefit the Boulder County Arts Alliance and the Lyons Arts and Humanities Commission.

Thanks for your patience with us this month per new inquiries and future booking correspondence- we have been away on events and are still out in the field plating up magic. We will return to semi-normal office hours again in a few weeks.

This season has been the best we have had on the books as the business owners (and in all the ways), we have managed to dial-in some functional systems that run the business week to week, embraced an incredible support staff and found ourselves -two tired gals, as we often say- more rested and rejuvenated than any season before.

We have found that the spark of inspiration comes around when there is down time and rest, and we are feeling the new waves of creativity flow. We are having a lot of fun playing with our food in new ways this season because of all of the other supports and help.

Mirasol literally dreamed this dish up, a sweet corn hushpuppy served on a corn husk, with smoky aioli and crispy carrot.

This was taken on the last Sunday in July , where we are collaborating on a four part Sunday dinner series- our next one is this Sunday August 11th! There are tickets still available for the coming Sundays we have there in September and October.
