Fabulous news for couples planning to get married in Northern Ireland!

From Monday, outdoor wedding with 10 people present, can go ahead. Hopefully the rest of the UK will feel safe enough to follow suit soon.

With the couple and the marriage officiant out of the equation, that leaves 7 guests - who would you choose? And will they need to double up as photographer/videographer, lie streamer, AND do the readings, speeches and hold the flowers!?

Worried about rain on your wedding day?

"Without rain, you can't make rainbows"

Whilst grey clouds aren't what brides would wish to see on their wedding day forecast, a bit of drizzle (or a downpour) on your wedding day needn't put a dampener on things if you have got a plan up your lacey sleeve:
Here are 5 tips to help you make a rainy day plan (just in case):
1. Buy or hire some white or clear umbrellas to have on hand, especially if you are planning an outdoor ceremony and photographs. The last thing you want in any of your pics is Uncle Brian with his Sports Direct brolly. If you buy the brollies and don't end up using them you can always return them afterwards
2. Have a hook on your dress so if need be, you can hoist your dress off the floor gracefully when moving around and avoid unsightly wet or muddy edges
3. Grab some beautiful wellies! If rain is a definite for your day, embrace it and make photos to smile back on. Rain means puddles and they can provide beautiful reflections for great pics!
4. If you have children coming to your wedding, make sure you have some indoor entertainment ready for them to keep them busy if running around outside is suddenly off the agenda
5. Relax and smile. You're allowed to be annoyed but your mood will set the tone of the day. Treat it as a lesson for married life, learn to make an Excellent Plan B when Plan A flies out of the window... AND remember, from rain comes rainbows so look for the silver lining and enjoy your day 😊
