At , the custom wedding dress process is an adventure into the creative process of design and dressmaking. I love working together with the bride to bring their vision to life. When we create a custom dress it becomes this gradual reveal of the bride, their personality shining through every stitch, embellishment, and fabric choice. It’s beautiful to get to know the bride throughout this process and to truly create the dress of their dreams! ✨

Aloha everyone! 🌺 My name is Jennifer Oberg () and I will be taking over the Maui Wedding Creatives instagram page this week! I am so excited to join this collective of talented wedding vendors.

Here is a bit about me… My creative journey in the art of design and fashion has taken me to the East coast, the West Coast, Hollywood, Maui, Colorado, and back to Maui. I have worked in opera, theater, film, and the wedding industry. I love the art of design and creating handmade garments, especially dresses. I have been creating, designing, and sewing for over 30 years now. What a joy it is to follow what you love!

I am passionate about helping my clients to feel their absolute best on their wedding day. I love tailoring the wedding dress process uniquely to each of my clients. My goal is to create the dream wedding experience and to bring life to the dress of your dreams! My Atelier is located in upcountry Maui and I have a wonderful team I work together with. We specialize in custom-made couture wedding gowns, wedding gown redesign, bridal alterations, dressmaking, alterations for the wedding party, and wedding day services.

Apart from dressmaking, I run the community organization, , where a group of volunteer sewists come together to sew various projects for the Maui community (masks, blankets, shorts, bags, etc.). During my freetime, I love spending time with my husband Craig. 💕

Our blog post is up on ‘6 ways to Incorporate a Luxury Picnic into your Wedding’! One example is by having a picnic-themed bridal shower. A shower is a pre-wedding celebration where the bride spends time with her closest friends and family. Take away the stress of planning and let us do most of the work. We can add gorgeous florals or an accent balloon garland. You can also step it up a notch and make it a Maui Luxe Tea Party. Sip on elegant china, indulge in our sweet and savory bites and simply enjoy!

Aloha everyone! We are Paula and Christine from and we’ll be taking over the IG for the week!

Many people don’t know this, but we met a few years ago when our husbands were co-workers and we were both adjusting to the beginnings of motherhood. We bonded over play dates with our young boys and were motivated to create something of our own.

We started Maui Luxe Picnics with the intention of creating unique and intimate experiences in Maui’s incomparable landscapes. You can call it divine timing or coincidence, but each of our individual skills have brought together the perfect balance for this partnership.

In our free time we love to take our sons out in nature whether it be walking in the forest, hanging at the beach, or having a camping adventure. We also love to play Catan. Between our two families we own every Catan expansion game 🤓🤓. Any Catan players out there?? 🪵 for 🐑??

We are honored to be a part of this wedding collective among so many talented and creative individuals, many of whom have helped us along the way. We hope you enjoy our recent work and blog post that we will be sharing with you throughout the week. We take pride in making each picnic unique and special for our clients and we hope that shows!

“Jenny was phenomenal to work with! My husband and I wanted to do an anniversary / vow renewal session in one of our favorite places, Hawaii. Our original plan was to renew our vows in Kauai, where we had our honeymoon. Well, COVID had other plans and we ended up switching to Maui. I found Jenny via Instagram and fell in love with her bright, romantic style. Let me just say, she blew away our expectations!! When looking through the preview photos my husband literally gasped "wow" on multiple shots (and he's not a photo-lover like myself so that was a BIG deal). We received so many amazing photos from our 2-hour sessions that I'm struggling to find less than 15 favorites. Awesome experience, beautiful photographer, and a kind and genuine person! Thank you Jenny for capturing a beautiful memory for us!”

Hi instagram land! 🌈 My name is Lexi and i’ll be taking over the maui wedding creatives instagram page this week ✨ photography has always been my passion, and i’ve known I wanted to be a photographer from a young age. I’m originally from a small town in pennsylvania, and today actually marks my 3rd year anniversary in Maui! I’m so grateful to be on this beautiful island in the middle of the pacific capturing love in breathtaking locations. I specialize in adventure elopements and I’m all about creating a unique non-traditional elopement experience that feels you.

I am devoted to story telling, to avoid the “posey” and focus on the real. I am passionate about imagery that makes you feel something. More than a cute kiss on the forehead. A Yumy Welcome to the collective to Maui’s mobil pizza oven at your wedding 👰🏾 🎩 YES!

In October 2019 for our honeymoon, we went to 🍕 school in Italy at and gained so much confidence and knowledge during the 1 week of training at the pizzeria.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We made dough balls after dough balls.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our first few pizzas were not round. We kept making pizza after pizza. To train the dough stretching process called the Napoli slap.

And there were a few failed attempts with holes in the pizza!

Practice. Practice. Practice.

After a long day, Oli whispered over to me, "I haven't seen you this happy since our wedding."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We often look back on this life experience in Napoli, Italy, working, training, learning from Mr. Luigi and Mr. Pasquale and can't thank them enough for what they have taught us!

Owner and chef Brian Etheredge has been captivated by the culinary world since he was 13 years old.
