Our Event/DJ business is expanding and we are in need of another Event Assistant! This is a fun job that can be extremely rewarding (you get to help make brides & grooms dreams come true).
Nearly all events are on Friday and Saturday and Sunday evenings. This is a paid position and you will be paid per event.
The main purpose of the job will be to help coordinate events the day-of. This means making sure brides & grooms, photographers and anyone else important are where they need to be when they need to be there. This is crucial to make sure the event runs smoothly. You will be trained on all of this and have the DJ there the entire time to answer any questions you have.
Besides this, you will need to be able to help setup equipment before the event and take it down after. It is possible you may need to help run the photo booth for some events as well.
A lot of the event time will be just hanging out, watching people dance and have a good time, so enjoying weddings is a plus. Free wedding food is included at every one we do too.
Must be able to stand for long periods, have nice attire that would be appropriate at a wedding and be friendly and reliable.
If you’re located in the West Knoxville, Rockwood, Harriman or Kingston area, we can provide transportation to events. If you’re located somewhere else, your own transportation may be required.
