The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) has an app for the Oculus Quest that offers family-oriented experiences and solo games you can enjoy. The headset includes a variety of VR apps, including meditation, fitness and world travel among many others.
VR can also help foster connections and combat loneliness and isolation.
Here are some things to consider when looking at any headset for seniors:
- If assistance is required, be assured that many options exist to make your experience enjoyable
- Make certain you are educated about device features and limitations
- You can use most applications from the sitting position and still have a great time
- HAVE FUN!

A new room popped up and it changed the vibe!! There's my theater - a wonderful club room, and then there's my concert hall - the new room fit well into the village. NO MORE are concerts on the patio . . THIS is how you showcase talent!

Check out SOULED OUT TOURS in Sankofa Village. Visit this location and tour all Sankofa locations - one doorway tours the village and the other tours all the apartments spread throughout the Infiniverse. Each doorway leads to a mall with elevators that travel floor by floor to each location. It's my virtual playground and it's worth the share!

Brick by virtual brick, the village grows and grows. I have been updating content and room designs in all my storefronts and in many apartments. I've raised 5 new buildings this week - 4 of them three sided - My plot is hot!!!! A new play, a new concert, a new film and as always, vital content that enlightens and educates. I am a one plot diva, but that plot offers such rich and vast entertainment, it's my version of an amusement park of culture. Look for the Sankofa bird throughout the infiniverse. Look for the Sankofa Logo in the village.
