Hi friends!

is having a fundraising event for Congo this Friday and Saturday! There will be open mic, video screening, a workshop and a raffle!

I have donated some of my creations and a tattoo gift card, among many other talented creatives donating their time and craft! Entering the raffle gives you a chance to win some prizes but most importantly contribute towards raising money for Congo.

For those of you that do not know, Congo is the most mineral rich country in the world, but it’s people have are one of the most exploited populations. Mining companies that extract massive amounts of cobalt, coltan among other minerals that are use to power phones, laptops, electric cars (basically anything with a battery), forcing men women and trafficked children to work in hazardous conditions, for less than a dollar a day. And that is just the tip of the iceberg, the horrors that happen in the mines are inhumane.

Please research if you want to know more or you can attend the event and learn more and how to organize and help!

I am grateful to and the organizers for providing a space for activists to come together and organize for Congo in Tokyo.
