Might Be Magic, launched by Claudia Hernandez and co-curator DJ / producer Brett Johnson, emerged on the Austin dance scene in March of 2021 and has quickly become one of the city’s favorite parties. Resident DJ Brett Johnson, known for his groovy, bumping house infused with all the right techno elements, contributes over 25 years of experience to the party giving it it’s authentic, underground at

mosphere. Focused on bringing exciting talent to Texas to play alongside Austin’s best-kept local talent, Might be Magic has hosted over 70 parties with headliners such as Mystic Bill, Cinthie, Daniel Bell (DBX), Lauren Flax, Mike Servito, Bradley Zero, Ash Lauryn, Gene on Earth, DJ Diz, Lady D, Bill Converse, Marcos Cabral and the list goes on and on. A healthy dose of house, techno, acid and the occasional disco oddity.

We’re thrilled to have in Austin, Texas at for a special CUC takeover 🔥 We’re bringing the magic to both stages with an exciting lineup of some of our favorite local talent - stay tuned for the full lineup 👀 You’re not going to want to miss Miles Maeda, a renowned house DJ and producer with deep roots in Chicago’s vibrant music scene 🪩 After moving there in the early 90’s, he worked regularly with fellow nu-ravers Derrick Carter, Mark Farina and Spencer Kincey, later holding his own 10+ year residency at Smartbar 😮‍💨 He’s been a pivotal force in shaping the electronic landscape, from co-founding iconic club nights to launching his own projects like Zen Daze in Tokyo - we can’t wait to have him on the MBM decks! ✨
