Booking the Admiral's House not only serves as a great venue for intimate weddings but also gives brides and grooms the option to use the Kay room as a suite for you and your party to get ready in, with plenty of space.

Earlier this month we invited some of our wedding suppliers to come along to our Whispering Wonders event. Showcasing some of the most creative ways to host at the Painted Hall. Guests menus and programme of the evening were presented beautifully in stationery and personalised with names.

C&D's ceremony in Admiral's House was very much the dream. While we're experiencing a very damp summer, our couple were treated to sunshine on a Friday in April - we can only guess it's pathetic fallacy at it's finest.
We had a few questions about why Admiral's House was the perfect venue for their ceremony with us:
🧐: Why did you choose to host your wedding at the venue?
👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️: The grounds are moments from our home in Greenwich and Sundays are often spent wondering the grounds with a coffee in hand! We met for the very first time not far from the college. It's a very special place to us and we wanted our friends and family to see it too. We knew we wanted an intimate wedding ceremony and the Admiral's House was the perfect size venue for us.
🧐: How did you get to the venue?
👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️: Daniel was able to walk with his groomsmen to the venue through Greenwich park. Of course stopping off for a pint at the Trafalgar on the way 🍻I arrived via a white wedding taxi with my parents and bridesmaids.
🧐: How did you personalise your ceremony?
👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️: We had a small intimate ceremony, and then our 95 reception guests greeted us later in the day outside the Admiral's House. The vibe for our day was fun and relaxed, but our guests were immaculately dressed in black tie.
There were plenty of personal touches throughout the day, we personalised our wedding vows I made the end of aisle flowers myself.
Most of our guests commented that the ceremony was their favourite part of the day as it was so intimate and personal, followed by drinks on the lawn in the south east London sunshine!

👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️: We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else 🏩

It’s with deep sadness that we acknowledge the death of Her Majesty the Queen. The Trustees, Chief Executive, staff and volunteers of the Old Royal Naval College send our heartfelt condolences to all the Royal Family who are in our thoughts at this time.

Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II visited the Royal Borough of Greenwich and The Old Royal Naval College several times throughout her life and as a mark of respect the Chapel and Painted Hall will be open for quiet contemplation and prayer for the rest of today and tomorrow. A Book of Condolence has been opened and is available for any who wish to record their thoughts, memories, and prayers at this time.

We did it. Yesterday we shot our 49th and final wedding of 2021 and I can think of nowhere we’d rather wrap our year up than the iconic Old Royal Naval College Weddings in Greenwich. It was here that Taylor & Jade said their vows in front of family and friends.

Now I’m not a great believer in luck, it’s something you make yourself but when the lighting engineers start testing the Christmas lights at the exact time we’ve taken our couple out for photos and the ORNC gets bathed in coloured lights, well. Maybe Lady Luck was a little bit on our side.

We’re due a bit of a break now ahead of the 52 weddings we currently have booked for 2022.
