Hey Friends,
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on the WWW. I am taking orders for BBQ, Smoked Chicken and Brisket for the Super Bowl weekend. I’ll be able to deliver to the charlotte area on Friday, Feb 10. For Charlotte Delivery, I’ll need to have the orders by sun nite, for Greenville-Spartanburg as late as Wednesday, delivery as late as Saturday. Minimum orders on BBQ and Chicken is 2 pounds.
BBQ is still $12/per pound
Smoked Chicken is $12/per pound (B/S thighs)
Brisket is $22/per pound (with a five pound minimum)
Delivery details will be worked out on a per order basis. We take square/cash app and most major credit cards. Will have a processing fee per order (3.5%).

Bad news…Part 1
We removed the bar that was reinforcing the drivers side, and found this! More body cancer and rust.

Beginning the sanding process…SO MUCH SANDPAPER!!! Definitely went through 3 new sanders (so far😱)
Bottom pictures are the driver’s side, sanded and primed. Looking good….but stay tuned 😳

Next steps involved removing the letters and the cow from the side panels. These were stickers, and required razor blades to remove. Here’s a look at the interior! It looks like a mess, but there is a beauty under all that! We began evaluating the interior, and realized many of the wall bracings would need to be replaced because of rust… something we would see WAY more of than we ever imagined initially 😬

A few pics of the first steps we took to get the Little Pig ready to paint. Pressure washing did wonders, and we removed the generator . There was a lot of damage to this compartment because of condensation, and we won’t need the generator, so we just removed this box.

Just a little something to get your mouth watering! SBBBQ is famous for smoked, slow cooked Eastern NC style pulled pork. Look at the bark on those butts! And look at that smoke…you can almost taste it!

Hey SBBBQ fans! This is the beginning of our journey towards our food truck, affectionately named The Little Pig. She had some humble beginnings, but David has been putting in a tremendous amount of sweat equity and she is coming right along! We will be posting updates about all the work that is going into this future food truck, so stay tuned! She is a vintage 1980 Chevy panel van, with so much character. We can’t wait to bring her to you!
