MYTH VS. REALITY - WEDDING PLANNER EDITION

Let’s set the record straight! Wedding planners do so much more than fluff dresses and taste cake (though we do love a good cake tasting 🍰).

💭 Myth: Wedding planners just show up on the wedding day.
✨ Reality: We’ve been working behind the scenes for months (and sometimes for a year or more) coordinating, problem-solving, and making sure everything goes smoothly.

💭 Myth: Wedding planning is all glamour and fun.
✨ Reality: Sure, there are magical moments, but there are also 2 AM timeline edits, emergency sewing kits, and the occasional sprint in heels to fix something before anyone notices.

💭 Myth: Wedding planners are only for big-budget weddings.
✨ Reality: A good planner works with any budget to maximize every dollar and minimize stress—because peace of mind is priceless! (More and more couples are choosing to work with a wedding planner to navigate through the perilous journey of planning a wedding!)

💭 Myth: We’re just glorified decorators.
✨ Reality: We’re logistics experts, negotiators, therapists, and sometimes even weather forecasters. We juggle vendors, solve last-minute crises, and keep everything running like clockwork. We're an advocate for couples getting married to keep them on track on be a resource on what should be done and how to do it.

💭 Myth: My venue has a coordinator—I don’t need a planner.
✨ Reality: Venue coordinators focus on the venue. Wedding planners focus on YOU - from start to finish, wherever you need us.

At the end of the day, we’re here to bring the magic while handling the madness. Wedding planning isn’t just a job—it’s a superpower! (And we love it!) 🦸‍♀️💍✨

What started as day-of coordinating and wedding management became so much more. Amanda and Alessandro are a couple who I could sit and talk to for hours, each meeting was like connecting with old friends. Not only was their wedding at one of my favorite venues but the esthetic, menu, and flow were out of a dream for me.

The Brundage family became a close friend of mine during Kristen's wedding- When it was Caitlyn who got engaged I was SO excited for her... even more excited when she described Chris as "Her reason" and "fits in perfectly with the Brundage family".

Caitlyn and Chris' wedding in Boothbay was personalized to them, their families, and super special all the way from the beginning of the weekend to the day after the wedding.

This weekend was filled with allll the good feels and perfect vibes.
Cait and Chris were surrounded by love thrown at them by 80 of their closest friends and family at the most gorgeous residence on a private road. Boothbay Harbor Maine won everyone’s hearts this weekend.
Speaking of hearts… these two, with their kind hearts and fun loving nature were radiating love, genuinely.
