It appears some residents are recieving spam texts stating “Lake Wenatchee Fire T-shirts 10% off”
These texts are not from us, and we would recommend you don’t respond to those texts.
Our shirts are not for sale. The only way to get one of these awesome T’s is to volunteer as a first responder or with our amazing Auxiliary, and do good things to help your neighbors.
Volleyball starts soon!
US Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, visited the today and toured the area for the Apple Capital Loop project that received $92 million in federal INFRA grant funds. Mayor Crawford, and other community leaders, welcomed Secretary Buttigieg and thanked him for his efforts in making that funding possible. Of that $92 million, $5 million is dedicated to a pedestrian crossing over Sunset Highway, which will connect East Wenatchee to the pedestrian bridge. Another fun fact, the $92.4 million award is the largest INFRA grant awarded anywhere in the country for 2021!
