He has been passionate about music since his young age.
He has been a producer since 2018. His greatest strength is his versatility in each of his productions. A music style where you can find softness but also good ambience.

Thank you for taking the time to read the cause of our fundraising.
OSU vzw is a non-profit organization that was founded 3 years ago under the initiative of 7 Antwerp youngsters.
The abbreviation stands for 'Our stories uncensored', we believe in creating, sharing and archiving the story of the black community in Flanders. We do this mainly by organizing various events, this week the Kroeshaar Festival that will take place on the 7th and 8th of august in Zomerfabriek Antwerp.
Last year, during the pandemic, we reached 1000 visitors, 70% of whom were between 18 and 35 years old.
This year we expect 2500 visitors between the ages of 16 and 35.
Our target audience is very extensive. Kroeshaar festival is a family friendly festival where our main target audience are black women with coily and curly hair.
The success of Kroeshaar festival also depends on donations to reimburse the costs of the artists, goodiebags, workshops and talents.
We welcome you to join and support our event by donating any amount.

AWASA by Kula Skoro
At this workshop Jose will teach you the Awasa dance.
Awasa is a Surinamese Maroon dance style in which beauty is portrayed through beautiful hand movements and stamping feet.
The dancers were anklets on their feet while dancing, and these are called kaawai
The kaawai creates a beautiful sound which goes along with the sound of the drums that is used during the Awasa dance.

Zarrisa is a freelance writer with lots of love for children’s book/ stories
She wrote her first children’s book called “LIEVER NIET”.
which tells the story of Manoe on how he learned to set boundaries and is coming out in August this year.
Zarrisa believes children’s are made readers on the laps of their parents.
Therefore she will be doing a story telling moment at our event on the 8 of August 2021 starting at 12:00 till 13:00

My name is Aldo, a versatile young man from North Holland. The most important reason I became a hairdresser is because I saw how my mother, like many of us, treated her hair. She did that for herself but also for others. The effect of a person falling in love with themselves again is a beautiful experience and I'm glad I can play a role in it.
I’ve been working with hair for 10 years now. I am a self-taught hairdresser with a European pre-training. Most of the things I know, and can do in the hairdressing profession, in the field of black hair, is self taught. I have researched a lot to turned myself into the Hairguru I am today. I am specialised in almost everything. I make routines that work for my clients. I also make oils for different purposes and masks based on natural products.
I would like to pass down this knowledge on to others. Thats what I will do during this workshop designed for men. They can bring their girlfriend, sister, brother or mom so they can practice on their hair and learn more about natural hair while working on it.

The focus of the workshop will be on introducing the holistic hair care philosophy, developed by Janine van Throo, called NISH.
NISH stands for 'Nutrition-Ingredients-Scalp care-Hair maintenance'; the 4 pillars that, according to Janine, together contain the concept 'Hair care'.
During the workshop she gives the participants handles to make a mind shift from a 'product based approach' to a 'holistic approach', in which nutrition, or rather Nutrition, is an important part.

🎤MORANE • AUGUST 7
Morane is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter, born in Antwerp with Belgian/Congolese roots. After graduating from De Kunsthumaniora, where she enjoyed singing and acting lessons, she decided to put her passion for music first.
She announced her solo career with her first single Boo. This was published in January 2020 within her first online project CDR (Connecting-Disconnecting-Reconnecting).
As an up-and-coming female artist in the Belgian scene, the attention was high from the moment she started her musical journey. Morane shared more about her first project on local radio stations such as MNM, StuBru, Lowkey Radio, NRJ and Bruzz. The fourth and final single within this project, We Good/Read My Mind, was released August 20th and was enhanced with her first official music video, where she also took part in directing. Afterwards she released her second project To Get Her, under which 4 singles were released again. This project also ended with a video clip on the track “Moody”.
Her first collaboration recently came out with none other than her blood brother and artist CM2. Today she is working on her EP and several collaborations are in the pipeline.
Her sound is characterized by a convergence of elements from jazz, neo-soul, hip-hop and RnB.

🔌DJ SAIDOU • AUGUST 7
Saidou is a DJ/Producer based in Belgium, influenced by DJ Premier, Fela Kuti, James Brown, D'Angelo, Pete Rock and J Dilla.
His love for music started as a child of a Senegalese father and Belgian mother, going through his parents' vinyl collection. After graduating as a Master in International Politics and Diplomacy (2017) and working in the field of Migration, Saidou started his DJ career and played in clubs like Libertine London, Make It Clap Paris, Dyoukes Brussels, Carré, La Rocca, Bazaar, Birdy, Charlatan, Vooruit Gent, Club 69, Bomboclat Festival, Le Bateau, etc...
He opened shows for Mr Eazi, Maleek Berry, Tekno, NSG, Innoss'B, EPMD, MHD, Naza, Vegedream and Koba laD, and is known for being very diverse: from Hip Hop, Rnb, Trap, Grime, Afrobeats and Dancehall to Underground Hiphop, Soul and Funk. Recently, Saidou has been added to the French Make It Clap Agency team as a curator for their HHLS Radio Station, based in Paris. Be on the lookout for more upcoming projects!

Hertier Hitimana, better known as Scottie, was born in Antwerp and grew up in Antwerp South. The rapper/singer and producer starts his career early. At the age of 12, Scottie starts making beats and writing lyrics.
Thanks to his broad musical upbringing, the young artist is clearly influenced by African music, soul music and hip-hop from the 90s/00s, among others. This broad taste in music and his distinctive voice make him - already - one of the most versatile hip-hop artists in Belgium.

NanaKILL is still very new on the scene, but has already been dubbed ‘one to watch’. Her love for 90s R&B is evident in her soulful voice and compelling beats.
Her latest single ‘FREAK’ - and the video have had amazing reviews. Her second single “Flaws” reinforced the idea that she was here to stay. There is an upcoming EP dropping later this summer, definitely one to look out for.

Kriticos is a multidisciplinary artist of Zambian (Bemba) and Tanzanian (Chagga) descent. His first project, Bemba Chagga, tells his story as a young African growing up among 2 African cultures.
As Kriticos is preparing for his upcoming projects, he released singles like "One Plus One", "Clarity" and featured on global chart topping track "All Mine" with Antwerp's DJ Lady S.
