I've been working on a new starting point for my website! I always want my site to be a great resource to both new and repeat customers, so hopefully these changes make that process easier!

And BOY is 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓 the MVP here, lol! I know *just* enough coding to be able to instruct what I want it to do, and then trouble shoot what's wrong with the output at times.

My customer said they were gonna video call some guests who weren't able to attend. We weren't planning to use my karaoke setup for anything else, so I said they could totally cast it to my TV! I'd say it worked out pretty well. :)

Today's featured artist is Tom Brier! A marvelous ragtime piano player (and pianist in general, I'm sure). He came to my attention through some really fun videos you can find on YouTube of him sightreading (playing without practicing) nerd-culture songs like the "Animaniacs" theme song, or music from different video games and memes but with a ragtime twist! Incredibly talented individual, with a story that's both heartwarming and tragic.

This photo was from when I was a couple years in, we shared the same name, Anthony Garcia, so I found it funny to take a photo with him! Turns out there are like 1.5M Anthonys and 1.1M Garcias, so there's probably a decent amount of overlap there. xD

While searching for this, you literally can't find any useful web search results on Google because it only wants to show you a serial killer.

I made a video! I bought a GoPro to start trying to capture different moments for different things. Maybe record some educational stuff too, idk.

Anyhow, this is an example of a slightly more intentional itinerary where someone made a mistake that I had to adapt and rescue, and then I stuttered on a name but not so much as to throw the flow off track. For some reason "padrino" was just really throwing me off.

All in all, the client was pleased, and still tipped me afterwards! And as long as the client is happy, I'm happy. :)

People ask me for recommendations all the time so I'm gonna start keeping vendor master lists on my website. :)
For now I'll share the only DJ I'm aware of who's worked in Florida. I've given business cards to other DJ's but they never reach out. Can't imagine why. xD

These lists are gonna be everyone who gives me their contact info that I at least don't think are a bad choice to consider. For now, there are basically one of 4 ratings:
Strong Recommendation
They Seem Nice (but I don't really know them)
They Didn't Seem Nice (but maybe it's just a personality difference)
I Don't Know Them

I'm not gonna even list someone if I'd recommend avoiding them. I'm sure that's for the best to avoid libel anyways.
