Celebrating Human Sustainability Part One: Creativity

Attending events and team-building meetings can feel daunting, especially for those who are introverted or sensitive to stimulus. Coloring, painting, or solving a puzzle are great ways of relaxing guests and having a 'mindfulness moment' while networking.

When it comes to creative thinking, we're big on allowing everyone to have a voice. Rather than jumping in with a solution, we let others work out a solution. Sometimes, we even learn a better way that we hadn't thought of!

Last month, we organized a hybrid event for the ACLU Foundation of Northern California - ‘Partners for Justice’ - in the Lodge at the Regency Ballroom.

This was an opportunity to bring together donors for an educational event to learn more about the critical work being done at the ACLU.

Being hybrid, this was an opportunity to create an exclusive experience for attendees both in-person and virtually with:

⭐️ excellent AV production for those at home

⭐️ live captioning onscreen and an ASL interpreter

⭐️ an intimate event design that celebrated the beauty of the venue and;

⭐️ entertainment that set the mood, including a pop violinist and an organist playing on a 100 year old organ

Venue Spotlight: Webster Hall 🌹

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect blend of historic charm and modern sophistication, you’ll love this San Francisco treasure: Webster Hall.

Positioned in the cultural crux of Pacific Heights, Webster Hall is more than just a venue — it's a historical masterpiece with a story to tell.

The building was designed and constructed in 1912 by Albert Pissis, San Francisco’s first Ecole des Beaux-Arts trained architect. It became a Historic Designated Landmark in June 1979, and was utilized by the California Pacific Medical Center as a medical library through the 1990s.

Picture high ceilings, grand windows, original books and ornate chandeliers casting a soft glow on your celebration. The venue is surprisingly adaptable with a spacious main hall and smaller individual spaces over multiple floors.

Park and play with the mobile trailhead known as the Roving Ranger.

Usually, we’re the ones trying to ‘wow’ guests; however, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy had us giddy with excitement as it drove up and stationed itself at our event. It was part of the conference connecting attendees with the outdoors and finding ways to create meaningful impact in the environment.
The Rover roams the city and attends events with park maps, educational books and eco-activities for all ages.
