Stephanos Koutroulis (b.1994), is a visual artist based in Athens, Greece. He is an Athens School of Fine Arts' graduate (Department of Fine Arts). Implementing sound, text, architectural gestures and graphic design, he aims to reveal underlying meanings on social structures, the multi-sensory undergo of time and the temporal self. Through his practice, he questions the notions of speed and light's alternation on reality, as essential elements of transcendence experiences and means of the body's communication with its surrounding environment; the sediment of memory, that reflects it and how it finds its place in the society networks.
Works and audio performances of him have been presented in various places such as museums, galleries, digital and radio platforms and in printed media in Greece and abroad.
