Meet our guest artists

Sofia, the resident artist at is all about crafting a sonic journey that breaks the nostalgia mold. Starting out on the airwaves at EH-FM in Edinburgh, she's honed a distinctive sound that blends bass, breaks, and IDM.

Sofia's beats are a refreshing departure from the sentimental vibes, yet carry subtle hints of a leftfield past. In her sets, envision a cozy brain space filled with ethereal licks, delicate glitches, and a mix of bleepy to bass-heavy tunes spanning all BPMs.

09/11/2023

At her most comfortable in the hazy glow of the morning, K.atou is the kind of DJ that prefers a time in the party where the edges are worn out and a more meaningful relationship can be struck up with the crowd.
The Greek selector of course has the means to ignite any time of the night, but there is after all a certain magic that comes over a party’s later hours, when the crowd is ready to fully experience the sounds being presented to them. It’s the same way K.atou felt as a child, worshipping at the altar of the family stereo and passionately taping her favourite jams (Josh Wink and Grandmaster Flash amongst them), immersing herself in record collecting at the age of 17 and starting a radio show during her studies in Corfu in her late teens. From these seeds a lifelong dedication to DJing emerged, deepening her education through time spent in London and Berlin. Around this time she began to forge connections with key conduits in the European house and techno scene, releasing early productions on Einmaliens alongside Nutown Project and on Lick My Deck in collaboration with Mikael Stavöstrand. By 2009 K.atou was ready to move back to Athens and immerse herself in the scene in her home city. As well as occasional events of her own, she established residencies at the notorious Six D.O.G.S., as well a series of parties along with Roussos under the name “No Expectations, regular appearances at the q***r mobile parties “Qreclaim, and later on as resident DJ at PTX Athens with her second moniker “Janet Davis”. In 2023, Janet Davis participated with her demonstration at Traxx’s Kodenation Unlimited Nation live stream, “a gathering of the heaviest headz” in Ron Morelli’s words. Meanwhile her international DJing schedule blossomed as well, taking in key performances across Europe, South America, numerous times at The Block in Tel aviv and the U.S. Among the many highlights were DEMF after parties, regular appearances at Club Der Visionaere, Circo Loco, Meadows in the Mountains Festival in Bulgaria in 2022 and 2023 and three times at the mighty q***r Block 9 at Glastonbury Festival and many more besides. Lastly, she was voted as Best DJ for 2022 by the audience of Athens

Persefoni Zygomala was born in 1996 in Athens where she grew up. She started her studies in Florina in the painting department and finished them at the Athens School of Fine Arts in the sculpture department in 2023.

She works mainly with sculpture but also with other media such as painting, printmaking, photography, sound and installations. She works with materials such as wood, bronze, wax, plaster, clay, etc.

She is very concerned about what is happening in the world and wants her work to speak about it. Her approach is mainly people-centred with a strong critique of politics.

The most important thing for Persefoni is that when the viewer sees her work he or she feels some strong emotions.

She has taken part in 4 group exhibitions with the most important one for her so far, the exhibition at the Benaki Museum entitled "Plastic arts and Bronze Casting".

Artists Introduction

Kildi Drasa is a visual artist based in Athens, born in 1987. He is an honor graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts and currently attending the Master of Fine Arts program at ASFA. He works as a painter and sculptor, while he is interested in the atmosphere of a space and the multiple perspectives of a view that changes depending on various axis, like absence or presence.

In his work, he likes to play with light, color, and the emotions that are created through them. He aims to a language that speaks directly to the viewer, just like music does for him.

His favorite material is epoxy resin, due to the fact that it has the ability to show light and colors of the surrounding environment, requiring the movement of the viewer through the space.

He has participated in several exhibitions and events in Greece and Belgium, including the Biennale for Students of Fine Art Schools (Thessaloniki) and InSitu workshops on the island of Hydra (Greece) and in the city of Calais (France) in cooperation with the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (Belgium).

Nicole Markopoulou is a visual artist based in Athens, born in 1999. She is a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts. She works as a painter and photographer, while her
personal work also spans set design, performance, and photomontage.

In her art, she explores the intersection of the monstrous and the familiar, creating intense self-portraits that delve into the emotional reactions between human relationships and personal recontextualization within the History of Art.

She often operates in natural outdoor settings such as forests and gardens, crafting costumes and scenic elements using natural materials and patterns, capturing them integrated onto her body and the surrounding environment
through photography.

Mimicking characters with eerie appearances or enigmatic behaviors, she constructs micro-narratives or symbols with a mythoplastic atmosphere,
harnessing the medium of photography and its illusionary capabilities.
