Une autre première pour l'aventure Soundwave. Bienvenue Sasha Sol !

Il a été entouré de musique toute sa vie. Ayant grandi en Ukraine, il a été exposé à la musique électronique la plus chaude d'Europe, ce qui a éveillé l'intérêt de Sasha pour l'industrie.

Maintenant basé à Montréal, Sasha a commencé à faire du DJing en 2019. Surnommé « DJ Versatile », il sait toujours comment adapter son set à l'humeur du moment de la foule. La plupart du temps, on peut le surprendre à mixer du down/mid tempo ou de la hard techno. Cependant, la house progressive, la techno mélodique, le dark disco et d'autres genres peuvent être trouvés dans le répertoire de Sasha, qu'il enregistre un set pour son Soundcloud ou qu'il mixe sur une énorme voiture d'art à Burning Man. Il a participé a plus d'une 15aine de "burns" sur de multiples continents.

Membre actif de la vibrante scène musicale et brûleurs montréalaise, sa "vibe" sera sans aucun doute parfaite pour la plage de Baie Trinité.

Sasha Sol has been surrounded by music all of his life. Growing up in Ukraine meant lots of exposure to Europe’s hottest electronic music which built Sasha’s interest in the industry.

Now based in Montreal, Sasha picked up DJing in 2019. Nicknamed “DJ Versatile” he always knows how to adapt his set to the current mood of the crowd. Most of the time you can catch him mix down/midtempo or hard techno. However progressive house, melodic techno, dark disco and other genres can be found in Sasha’s repertoire, regardless if he’s recording a set for his Soundcloud or mixing on a huge art car at Burning Man.

An active member of the vibrant Montreal party scene, you can often find Sasha setting up sound systems and lights at parties, festivals and his own events. He also co-leads a techno stage at a regional burn where he’s not only in charge of all the technical aspects but also responsible for programming and managing talent.

I haven't uploaded any new sets in a while, here is one from March 2024 @ Batiment 7.

On March 23rd 2024 I helped Batiment 7 with their fundraiser. Besides bringing my sound system and organizing the lineup I also played a pretty chilled out set which you can listen to now right here.

It's not a rave although there will be an incredible dance floor open from 10pm to 6am, pumping some of the hottest techno on a world-class Meyer Sound system.

It's not an art gallery although the space will be filled with awesome art installations.

This is not a theater although you'll stumble upon some of the weirdest and coolest performances.

Happening at the (now defunct) iconic Circus afterhours, in the middle of Montreal's Village on April 6th 2024. Capacity is limited and the tickets are selling fast. See you there?
