Ladies, I haven’t forgotten you! I was in the process of planning when our event would be when the Mill fire started. We have a couple options, we can try to squeak out an event when the fires are finally out, or you can reign with city titles for this year and be automatically entered In next years county pageant. Please let me know what you would like to do. Ambar, I would get you a city title for you to reign and represent your city until the county pageant next year as well. I would feel like you were robbed of a full year of County reign and the appearances at the fair, since it was cancelled.

Good morning ladies, it is with great sadness that I share the cancellation of our 2022 Siskiyou Golden Fair, which means the cancellation of the Miss Siskiyou Pageant. I do not have a plan in place as of yet, but we will hold the pageant and crown our Miss Siskiyou as soon as the firefighters get a handle on these fires, and it is safe to do so. Take care of yourselves and familes. Be safe. Message me with any questions.
Ladies, we are scheduled for Wed night of the fair at 6 pm on stage. You and 1 guest can go through the office to get in to the fair. Please look closely at the attire rules. Teen and up will need long gowns and heels, jr teen can have long or short dresses. We are cutting the competition down to just beauty. We need to work out the logistics for a larger pageant in the future. You will answer one on stage question and do your intro. Stage walk and we will announce crowning. Please bring your city crown and sash.
FIRE NEWS- I know everyone is on alert right now. Everyone be safe. We will be on for the pageant unless they cancel fair. I will post here as soon as I get word.
If we have to cancel, we will hold it privately to find a county winner.

There will be a dressing room for outfit changes
Optionals are open for entry up until 10:15 the day of the pageant, just be prepared to bring the outfit etc.

The exact order will be posted the dat of pageant, plan for Beauty to be last so that we are crowning and doing photos in formals
COMMUNICATION IS KEY - there are a few moms competing in the Miss and their children competing in the Little Miss, we want to make sure you enjoy yourself, so if you feel rushed or do not have enough time to get ready. Please communicate that to event staff and we will make sure we get you enough time to get ready.
I will have the room open Friday afternoon during set up for contestants of the Miss Siskiyou Pageant only. No little Miss Please. You may come in, see the stage and practice if you like.

Update! I had a typo, it will be 3:30 and it’s not a hard and fast time. I will be there from 3 to 4 ish for 1 on 1 help.
Today is NOT mandatory. It’s simply an opportunity for you to see the stage configuration, ask questions and take a practice run or two. If you need help with stances, walks, advice with on the onstage question, etc. please feel free to drop by at 3:30 at lower greenhorn park. I will be in all black with long dark brown hair.

Introduction - should be your name, age, school or work, platform and something interesting about you.
How Do I choose a Platform?
As a Pre-Teen, Teen, Miss or Ms contestant, you will often be asked about your platform. But if you have never competed in pageants before, you may not even be aware that you have one. So here are some questions to ask yourself when making your selection…
1) Am I passionate about something?
There might be something that you have an opinion on that you may not realize you could get behind professionally. For example, were you or someone you love bullied in school? Your platform could be anti bullying. Do you have a passion for Agriculture? Or Small Businesses? We’re you impacted by the movement? It can also be awareness about a charity. It can simply be bringing awareness to Autism Speaks, Breast Cancer Awareness, ALS Association, Rescue Ranch etc.
2) am I willing to do research to get more information on it?
If you have zero interest in looking up your platform to get more info, then it may not be the platform for you.
3) when my name is said, What impact do i want to have?
If you have any questions or want to run ideas by me, please feel free to message.
There are still titles up for grabs AND we have Ms. divisions (23 and up) opened up!! Please feel free to attend the practice and come ask any questions you like!
Okay, I was nervous to schedule this because of our crazy weather, but we are going to take our chances and hope that there is good weather. So… Sunday May 15th we will hold a practice at lower greenhorn park at 3:30 pm. NON DRESS practice. You can bring payments if you are on a payment plan. I will take cash and checks that day. Please note I can not take checks on the day of the pageant for final payment. Cash or electronic only on the day of the pageant. I will have some balloons up.
I also have open titles which means I can take a additional entries. Please bring a friend who might be interested in entering! Anyone who brings a friend to enter will get an additional entry into the Juicy Couture Purse!!

I’m so sorry on the practice delay, I am struggling to find a free weekend. At the moment it looks like the 15th of May is my only day. I can do afternoon so that those who attend Church won’t have to miss out. what for the Afternoon of the 15th look for everyone?
Also if you have friends who may want to enter, we have several divisions and cities open. I am happy to give an incentive of prizes for every paid referral.

1) Miss Siskiyou is happy to Announce we will have professional photography services available for stage photos. A photographer will be photographing the contestants on stage and will have photo packages available at the pageant.
2) the Registration date has passed BUT I have extra crowns so I am able to open registration back up. I will have a separate announcement this weekend with how many spots are available. So if you have a friend who didn’t get in before the deadline, tag them.
3) lastly, let’s schedule a pre pageant meeting. I would like to schedule an informal practice along with a Q and A session so that everyone will arrive on pageant day feeling good about being well informed. Please comment below on what works best. Weekends? Evenings? Etc. The actual demo and meeting will only last 45 min to an hour and I will stay behind for any of the contestants that want to practice.

We are creating a Ms. and Mrs. pageant. It will be a 1 day pageant held in conjunction with the Little Miss Pageant. But I am adding contestants here to this page because the videos and information being posted here are more in line with what the Ms. Mrs. co test ants will need. So ladies, grab those beautiful mama’s of yours and encourage them to enter!! They will have 2 stage walks! Formal wear and luau wear!

Introduction: meet Kallie Gill-Oliver. Kallie is the Junior Director for the Little Miss Siskiyou Pageant and the Reigning Junior Teen Sweetheart for the West Coast Sweethearts pageant system. Kallie has been competing in pageants since the age of 18 months and will be the acting ambassador for Miss Siskiyou to help crown in the first year since we do not have an outgoing court. She will also be available as an assistant to any Junior-teen, teen and Miss contestants that may need help during the city or county pageants.

Hi Everyone! I thought it was time I introduced myself. My name is Kendra and I have been a resident of Siskiyou County for 22 years. I’m the current reigning Ms. Agriculture America Northern CA Siskiyou. My daughter (who will be introduced next as the ambassador) has been in pageants since she was 18 months old. My first experience directing was for Miss Heart of the USA about 8 years ago. I have since directed for 2 other systems but they didn’t quite fit what I was wanting to offer in a pageant. I want contestants to have an inclusive place, not exclusive. If you are considering entering, it will be a wonderful experience for all. This is the stage set up. This probably looks confusing, but we will walk it together at in person registration and on check in day. You will enter in on the blue arrow, walk in a circle and then do 1 or 2 poses, follow the purple arrow and strike another pose, walk the red arrow, you may walk through the center x or pose at the center x before walking to stage right x, pose. Walk the yellow arrow, you may pose at the back yellow x, or walk through it, but please go to the x so the MC knows when to cue his “thank you contestant” conclusion. Lastly green arrow for exit. Please feel free to ask any questions below.
Hello everyone! I'm so excited for this pageant. Miss Siskiyou will be different from the Childrens pageant in that winners will move on to represent your city at the county pageant. Queens will reign all year long and make appearances such as store openings, Awards ceremonies and Parade appearances. I would love to have more ladies join this page. Hello! Welcome to the Miss Siskiyou Pageant. This is a completely separate pageant from the Little Miss Siskiyou. There will be 3 age divisions - Junior Teen is 13-15, Teen is 16-19 and Miss is 20-26.
We will be holding a preliminary pageant to title 6 city queens. If your city is not represented in the 6, you may choose 1 of 2 options. You may compete for the title of the city closest to you, or you may sponsor an “at large” title to advance to the county pageant. The tentative plan is for the county pageant to be held at the Siskiyou Golden Fair. All winners will represent their city or county at various events throughout the year as well as award presentations at the fair. We will have a Holiday party and Queens float in the Yreka Christmas parade!
I will have registration fees and dates listed this week as soon as I get them solidified.
