Ok taking orders for next week Thursday or Friday 20th/21st, after which I will be taking a bit of a break due to our sons arriving and my sister and BIL. 24th August last delivery day until the 7th September.

The last class of 4 from our Teenage Cookery Classes we’ve had great fun and Paula and I are so proud of our young chefs. We’ve watched over these few weeks them gain more confidence and skills and they’ve all went home from each class with delicious food. We will be running a class close to Xmas if anyone is interested.
This week we made Pizza, Salad with a homemade dressing, Loaded Potato Skins and Chocolate Brownie’s.

3rd week of Teenagers Cookery Class tough one this week a lot to do. Chicken Stir Fry, Egg Fried Rice, Spring Rolls and Mini cheesecakes. They all did amazing and each week you can see how much they are progressing. Well done Chefs. 👩‍🍳

Taking orders for Monday and Thursday next week. The Quiches have been doing a storm these last few weeks. Nice with a side salad for supper light whats needed in this heat.

👩‍🍳 Teen Cookery Course – Week 2 Complete! 👨‍🍳

Another fantastic day in the kitchen at Munro Catering Services! 🌟

Today our brilliant young chefs took on some classic family favourites and, once again, impressed us with their enthusiasm, teamwork and growing confidence.

🍗 Chicken Goujons
🥔 Oven-Baked Potato Wedges
🥗 Homemade Coleslaw
🧁 Vanilla Cupcakes with Buttercream

As well as cooking from scratch, they practised essential kitchen skills including:
🔪 Safe knife skills
🥚 Coating and breadcrumbing techniques
🧼 Food hygiene and cleaning as they go
📏 Measuring ingredients accurately
🤝 Teamwork, organisation and communication
👩‍🍳 Time management and confidence in the kitchen

It’s been amazing to watch how much they have developed in just two weeks. They’re becoming more independent, more organised and are producing food they can be really proud of.

A huge well done to all of today’s young chefs – you should be incredibly proud of yourselves! 👏👏

Roll on Week 3 where we’ll be exploring even more exciting recipes and learning new skills!

👨‍🍳 Our First Junior Chef Class Was a Huge Success! 🍪🧀🍅

What a brilliant start to our Munro Catering Services Teen Cookery Course!

Today our young chefs learned:
⭐ Kitchen safety and hygiene
⭐ Knife skills
⭐ Baking perfect cheese scones
⭐ Homemade tomato pasta sauce
⭐ Garlic bread
⭐ Chocolate chip cookies

There were lots of smiles, plenty of teamwork and some fantastic cooking. Everyone went home with delicious food and new skills to practise at home.

I can’t wait to see what these talented young chefs create next week!
