Good morning my fellow Chefs & Chefettes the first class of 2025 will be Indian. 14th January Millers of Frigiliana, and 15th January at Casa Munro.
The recipes will be
Sabzi Dhal
Chicken Biriyani
Bombay Potatoes
Tandoori King Prawns
The class will cost €48 per person and a €10 deposit is required to hold your place. I hope to hold a morning class and afternoon class at both venues all dependant on numbers. Please advise on preference when booking.
We will also be running an Italian Class on the 11th & 12th February and a Moroccan Class on the 11th & 12th March. I will follow with recipes soon.
In the meantime I would like to thank you all for your continued support and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy 2025. 👩‍🍳

RELEASE DATES FOR 2025.
Spanish Tapas Cookery Lesson
Thursday 9th January, Tuesday 4th February and Tuesday 4th March at My Casa just outside Frigiliana on the main Nerja to Frigiliana bus route book now this will fill up fast.

Starting at 11am approx. 2-2 ½ hours Cooking
Lunch will be served at 1.30pm and last until around 3.30pm (however no restiction on time)

The class will start with everyone in groups of 2, each group will be tasked with 1 or 2 recipes to complete. Everyone has the opportunity to watch and see the explanation of each recipe by way of instruction from the Chef and carrying out tasks to help prepare ensuring everyone is involved.

Once the tapas are all made the Chef will make the final touches whilst the group sit at the table for some Sangria and the Chef will serve your tapas which will be accompanied by local wine, bread, aioli, olive oil, local cheese and meats and Gazpacho shots which the Chef will have already prepared.

Russian Potato Salad
Prawn Pil Pil
Ham Croquettes
Fried Padron Peppers
Stuffed Piquillo Peppers
Chicken Skewers (Pinchitos Morunos)
Pork Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (Albondigas)
Poor Mans Potatoes with Quaills Eggs
Fried Blackpudding with Pickled Onions (Morcilla)
Sangria

The cost for the class including ingredients and the lunch accompaniments will be €55 per person

Great cookery class today. Spanish was on the menu. Everyone went home with plenty of dishes for supper. We now won’t be running any more classes until January, time for the Munro Kitchen to have a little break. However throughout December be posting up all our classes for the first 1/4 of 2025. Watch this space. !

We are pleased to announce a special Christmas Cooking Event. Held Tuesday 10th December in Frigiliana. A chance to get into the Christmas Spirit with friends and meet new people. Starting at 11am, You will be put into groups of 2 and responsible for making a canapé we will then have a masterclass in cocktail making. You will then sit down by the tree and log fire and enjoy the cocktails and each canapé that has been made. Plus a few little extras made by us and to give you further ideas for the festive season. €60 per head day finishing around 4pm.

Where we will be going Spanish. The menu is
Stuffed Piquillo Peppers with Cod, Poor Man’s Potatoes with broken eggs, Morcilla & Pickled Onions, Chicken Pinchitos.
€45 per person, as always you take home a meal for 2. Morning class starting at 10.30-1.30pm, afternoon class starting at 2.30pm-5.30pm. Message me now to book a place €10 deposit required to confirm booking.

Good afternoon all.
We hope you had a fantastic Summer. We are starting our cookery classes again. First one at Millers at either 10.30am or 2.30pm on Thursday 14th November. I will also be running an additional class at 10am on Saturday 16th November.
We are doing Thai after popular demand. Making
Thai Fish Cakes
Red Thai Curry with either Monkfish or Chicken
Thai Fried Vegetable Rice
Spicy Thai Noodle Salad.
