PFLAG Canada Durham Region supports all persons within our reach with their journeys through gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. We seek to provide education and resources to the greater Durham community to help encourage inclusion, diversity and equity.

The third charity we have donated to today on is wildlifecentre Toronto Wildlife Centre is a charitable wildlife rescue organization providing medical treatment and rehabilitative care to sick, injured and orphaned wild animals found by members of the public. Since opening in 1993, over 270 different species have been admitted for care. With help from our volunteers and donors, Toronto Wildlife Centre has grown into Canada’s largest and busiest wildlife centre, and a leader in the field of wildlife rehabilitation.

The next charity we are supporting on is The Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund. The Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund, founded in 1906, is a registered children's charity that provides 45,000 underprivileged children living in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Ajax and Pickering with a gift at Christmas. Help give a kid a Christmas!

It’s Today the first charity we have chosen to donate to is As a rescue, they take on the harder medical cases. They are expensive, but every life is worth it. They save DEATH ROW cats ONLY. They do not have a shelter and rely on fosters to protect and nurture the cats until adoption. They are a foster-based rescue which means that we have no shelter so we are dependent on available foster homes and the charity pays all expenses. Without foster homes and funds, they cannot pull cats and kittens from high kill shelters. We ask our colleagues to join us in giving back. Register as a partner givingtuesday.ca
