Finding My Brand
I am going to be open honest for a moment and it would mean the world to me if you would read this to the end.
I know, it might sound a bit silly, to some, but I have recently taken a training on “Creating My Brand.” In other words, who Am I, and what talent do I have that could make a difference in someone else? Could social media be the tool to find that person? I'm in a brand-new chapter of my life. I've retired, and every day feels like a weekend! I get to spend all the time I want with my grandkids, go to the gym and run errands at my own pace. It’s an absolutely wonderful life!
So, what is my brand? I am Christian, a wife, a mom, a friend and a grandma on a mission. I discovered I have a passion to encourage grandma’s who are tired, burnt-out and expected to care for or raise young children. We need fresh ideas that will instill value in our kids and to help limit excessive screentime. It starts with taking care of yourself first. We all have similar struggles and let's be honest...sometimes we just don’t feel so good. Everyone, young or old, has value. It is our God given responsibility to guide in our little people to find theirs. I’m hoping to get grandmas to interact with me.
I have never done anything like this so, I'm a little nervous. I had no idea what “Finding My Brand” meant. It’s simply finding the God given my passion that He has given me.
