What even is a boiler room?
Does a 'boiler room' mean the show is in the basement? Does it mean it's just a super fire show?

The stage for this event will be in the center of
the room at the Midtown Ballroom with the
audience surrounding it in-the-round. As an
attendee, we ask that you be respectful to each
other and the performers as they take the stage
and perform as you will be in closer proximity to
them compared to a typical stage show. We've taken careful consideration to provide this intimate experience and will trust our audience to honor this unique arrangement with respectful and courteous behavior to each other, the performance space, and the performers. If you were at 2023's Jingle Ball or 2024's The Big Spooky, you got to experience a true boiler room at Open Space Event Studios. This year's Jingle Ball will be just like that but in a much larger space with a much larger crowd capacity. This format is really special as audience members will be able to engage with each other across the stage. The backdrop behind the DJ is you! It's a great opportunity to re-connect with the roots of the EDM genre where there is less of a focus on the DJ and more focus on the community!

Is Jingle Ball a Christmas party? Yes and no.
While winter holiday themes are used, this is not
a strictly Christmas party but rather a
community celebration of the season. You get to define what that means to you. While the aesthetic of the event is heavily Christmas themed, the party is completely non-secular and intended for everyone to enjoy however they deem fit. ❄️🎉

We are so very stoked and honored to be featuring Maddy O'Neal as the headliner for the 2024 Jingle Ball. We've been following her for the last few years and have been preparing for this very opportunity to bring her to Bend. We can't imagine a better way to welcome her to this amazing community.

Maddy O'Neal's music embodies a rich tapestry of genres, seamlessly blending elements from across the spectrum. Her sound, characterized by lush textures and atmospheric layers, draws heavily from her roots in funk and soul. These influences meld with deep bass frequencies and innovative synth designs, creating a unique sonic space within the electro-soul and bass music communities. Based in Denver, Colorado, Maddy has carved out her distinct niche, infusing her productions with a signature blend of soulful melodies, driving basslines, and glitchy hip-hop rhythms.

Maddy O'Neal has graced the stages of major festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, and Red Rocks, among others. She has toured with and supported renowned artists such as Pretty Lights, Griz, Big Gigantic, Liquid Stranger, The Floozies, and STS9.

As a self-taught producer and DJ with a creatively charged background, Maddy's live performances are dynamic and immersive. Jingle Ball returns for a third annual installation of this hit holiday EDM party.

With a carefully curated list of local DJs supporting headliner Maddy O'Neal on a "boiler room" in-the-round stage, this Jingle Ball will be a next-level experience. We will be transforming the Midtown Ballroom into a winter holiday wonderland. Along with Midtown Ballroom's house Lighting Designer, Camron Fritz, Trippy Lights will bring his signature liquid lights styles to the show for a top-tier visual experience! Not to be confused with a typical concert, with an instant photo booth, activities, and more, this event is a one-night festival! Last year's event sold out so do not delay securing your spot for this exciting event.

The performers will be in an intimate setting placed on a short riser near the middle of the room. This frees up the main stage. So, 50 Upper Deck "Jingle Baller" tickets are available at only $5 extra. This ticket tier will grant holders to access the Midtown Ballroom main stage, gaining an elevated view from the back of the room. These are expected to sell out fast so get them while we got them!

Skora - Drum and Bass ju**ie with just the right amount of wubs mixed in. The Big Spooky will also serve as a send off before he departs Bend for Australia 🐨

Liamlantern & eyeNeye - Playing in a 'back to back' format, these two dynamos will trade tracks for their set. Founding members of Unreal Gods, these two have built a dedicated following in the Bend OR music community with a regular presence at many events. Always ecclectic, always electric⚡

Giancarlo - Hailing originally from Philadelphia and the days of vinyl and beyond, Giancarlo brings a level of expertise to the decks that is clear with us nuanced curation of a wide variety of EDM goodness including influences from Jungle, UK Garage, Techno, Hip-Hop, House, and Classic Underground 🎧
