I am so happy to let you all know how proud I am to be putting a IPL Powerlifting on in London (Walthamstow E17) at Pure Muscles Gym. The competition will take place on Sundayvthe 20th of October.
East London and Essex are under represented in powerlifting competitions, so here is your chance to get involved. You can qualify for national and international competitions at this competition.

Managed my first gym session yesterday. My calfs are a bit sore but otherwise ok. My plan is to build back up to looking like I do on this picture.😍

New training program for adding muscle, diet to cut fat and working on mental attitude.

4 days a week weight training on pin loaded machines in the gym (to avoid stress on the bones in my neck). Adding 30 min cardio after each session.

Diet will be including salmon, white fish, chicken, a little red meat due to anemia and vegetables.

Looking after my mental health so I do not end up depressed if I cannot powerlifting on a competitive level anymore.

Will have x-ray on my top spine and possible MRI scan. Will discuss way forward with my doctor after that.

Due to a recurring problem with the bones in my neck (had a serious operation on C4/C5/C6) 10 years ago, I will have to stop training and competing in powerlifting for some time. I will however be training for health/fat loss/muscle building instead. Watch this space for updates!
