Faculty Announcement - Meet Brittany! Brittany is the artistic director at Limitless Dance Company and has worked with numerous industry professionals. We are delighted to have her join us this year! Check out her Bio below.

Brittany Giddens is a dance instructor, choreographer, and owner of Limitless Dance Company. Brittany began her dance training at RSI Danceworks in 1994 and studied several styles, including Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap & Ballet. Throughout these years she completed training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s professional division as well as attended several master classes and conventions taught by leading-edge choreographers throughout Canada. Brittany began sharing her passion for dance and movement with students at RSI Danceworks in 2004. Over these years Brittany has won several regional and national awards for both her dancing and choreography.
In 2011 Brittany graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a professional studies degree in Child and Youth Studies. Brittany uses her education and training in dance and child development to provide professional age-appropriate instruction for dancers. In 2016 Brittany made a decision to pursue her passion and become the owner and artistic director of Limitless Dance Company so she could continue to share her passion and love for dance.

Faculty Announcement - Meet Marco! Marco is the assistant director at Danse Chaos Dance and has worked with numerous industry professionals. We are so excited to have him join us this year! Check out his Bio below

Marco Dupuis was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. He started dancing at 16 years old, after watching season 2 of So you think you can dance. He always loved dance but never had the chance to take classes. He moved to Moncton in 2012 and started teaching at Danse Chaos Dance. After many years, he became the assistant director of the studio. Back in Montreal and throughout the years in Moncton, he trained in different urban styles (hip hop, house, R’n’B, videostyle, heels, etc) with many choreographers like Janick Arseneau (J. Lo dancer), Edgar Gilbert-Reyes (So you think you can dance Canada season 3) and Rockwell Family (Danser pour Gagner season 1 winner). Marco is known for his sassy and dramatic choreographies around New-Brunswick's competition stages, like Witchcraft (2018). He always works hard and tries to push his limits further each year with his routine’s theme and costume ideas. season 2 of So you think you can dance. Faculty Announcement - Meet Melissa! You might recognize her from SYTYCD and other TV shows and we are thrilled to have her join us this year! Check out her Bio below.

Melissa began her dancing career at the age of three in many genres of dance including ballet, hip hop, lyrical, jazz, tap, acrobatics, musical theatre, contemporary, modern, highland, salsa etc. with great success. A 3-time winner of JUMP Dance Regionals and a 2nd Runner-up at the JUMP Dance Nationals in LA, she has won numerous overall awards in major competitions throughout North America. Professionally, Melissa has been featured in many music videos and performed live with many artists in North America and Europe such as Nick Jonas, Nelly Furtado, Chaka Khan, James Morrison, and Deborah Cox to name a few. As well as the runner-up on CTV’s So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season 4, Melissa's tv and film credits include The Voice, Disney's Zombies 2, Netflix's Julie and the Phantoms and Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist, DC's Su***de Squad, the Pan-Am Games in both Canada and Mexico and the Switzerland production of Art On Ice. She is a sought after teacher and choreographer and has worked at many different conventions and schools such as the National Ballet of Canada, Jump Dance Convention, On the Floor, etc. She has travelled all across Europe performing with the renowned salsa company Ansima Production Ballet based in Italy to such exciting places as Finland, Poland, Spain, Croatia, and all over Italy. Her choreography can be seen on So You Think You Can Dance in the U.S, So You Think You Can Dance in Vietnam as well as on 4 seasons of the no. 1 Hispanic T.V. show Mira Quien Baila in both Mexico and Miami, where she thrives as the head choreographer and principal dancer. When not performing, Melissa travels judging dance competitions, choreographing, and teaching workshops and classes, motivating and inspiring young dancers in the art of dance.

We are excited to have Seanna Bailey joining us this year! (Check out her Bio below)

Seanna Bailey is a powerful dancer, creator, and artist who constructs with raw soul and a unique perspective. She feeds solely on the connection of mind, body, and heart when dancing and creating. Born and raised in Lantz, Nova Scotia, Seanna began her extensive training in various styles such as Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip hop, Ballet, Musical Theatre, and Modern at R.S.I Danceworks. As she continued through her training, she became a competitive dancer, which opened a tremendous amount of doors for opportunity. Seanna received many performance scholarships, including the “Most Promising Dancer” title that pushed open more doors. She traveled to Los Angeles (BeDiscovered/Choreographers Carnival) and Greece (View Dance Challenge) for intensive training and major performance opportunities. Taking all the knowledge and passion from her past, she is on a new path as an emerging artist in Toronto. She has had the pleasure of dancing with Inhayle Dance Company (Urban Contemporary based) led by Hayley Payone, as well as now dancing and choreographing as a member of the Unapologetic Dance Collective, artistically directed by Kahvontay Slaughter and Kaitlin Kawam. Seanna is focusing on exploring movement and pushing the barriers of the dance world with her intricate style and vision.

This years event will be virtual which is allowing us to have some amazing faculty! Which we will be announcing soon, stay tuned! Breakthrough 2020's Intensive will take place on June 9-11 from 9am-4pm.
