I think I can legally post these now. Y'all I had so much fun with my good friends in the Northern Colorado Special Events Network (NOCOSEN) when we did our promo shoot (by the super amazing ) for the NOCOSEN "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" Christmas party on December 11 at The Forge Event Center. We have an amazing planning team! We are blessed to have such amazing talent in NOCOSEN.

I'll be posting about the plans as they are formulated and I hope all of our industry friends decide to come....this is the one day you can wear white! Stay tuned next week for the mood board on what to wear.

My heart is full! This Mother of the Bride was such a delight to work with. And their backyard wedding was stunning. I just read an article on the list art of handwriting a note or letter. I absolutely handwrite every note of gratitude. And I've taught my daughter to do the same. It should not be a lost art! I vote to bring back classics and traditions. How about you?

Breaking News, in from a colleague. Colorado can deny your marriage license if you do not have the new "updated" driver's license which we are all supposed to have by 5/25. This is from any state. While those driver's licenses are not "due" until 5/25, an out of state couple was just denied their marriage license b/c they didn't have the updated driver's license with the star on it. They were saved by presenting their passports. Please check your driver's licenses, get them updated by May, and bring your passport for backup when applying for your marriage license meanwhile.

Tonight we served a family style meal, with long family style seating at The Landing in Estes Park. JuliYJuan and NoCo Staffing did a spectacular job. Family service is trending right now...it makes your guests feel "at home" and it's interactive. Congratulations Joe and Monica on capturing the essence of family tonight!

Congratulations Monica and Joe! We could not have asked for a better day up in Estes Park! All sunshine. Best vendor family. OMG the food.

I have been watching how smooth the day goes with the right vendor team, and a strong planner to plan it out in advance. It's just essential...the team has to work together, both in advance and on the day of the event. My best advice to clients is...pick an experienced planner, trust her, and then trust the team she recommends. Every pro today did his/her job perfectly and just about every guest tonight has flooded me with compliments.... our team's hard work shines through!!

When it stopped raining the sky opened up and we had the most beautiful rainbow tonight for Cordelia and Scott!! Thankfully our amazing photographer caught it, and grabbed them just in time. Estes Park never disappoints!
