Basil Isaac, aka Basil Black II Basic, is one of South London’s original Soul Boogie Boys. He is an experienced percussionist and DJ, spinning Afro, Latin and soulful beats.

DJ & Producer Kim Cosmik started out as a DJ for free party soundsystems Spiral Tribe & Bedlam and DJs all over the UK and Europe. She has a new monthly event at the Trinity Townhouse in Hastings called Atomic, as well as the more established Hybrid, which launched in 2019.

House music and Balearic DJ & Music Producer Trevor Fung started DJing in Amnesia, Ibiza in1982. He was instrumental in shaping the Balearic sound that would inspire Britain's Acid House revolution and toured worldwide with renowned Producer/DJ Paul Oakenfold.

DANNY RAMPLING

Renowned House music DJ Danny Rampling is widely credited as one of the original founders of the UK's rave / club scene.

With constant DJ appearances at top nights around the globe, Rampling was the first winner of the No 1 DJ in the World award by DJ Magazine in 1991 and is three-time DJ Awards recipient. He has reportedly sold over 1 million compilation albums.



BOB SELWAY

As a DJ, Bob Selway is recognised for being at the forefront of the Hastings Dance Music scene and is the founder of KLOODUP, playing deep soulful, Afro Latin disco house music, often collaborating with DJ’s such as DJ Soulprovyder, Marcia Carr and more.



DJSOULPROVYDER

Djsoulprovyder, a purveyor and collector of 70s Soul, Jazz Funk, Latin and Rare Groove.

His sets are a selection of the past and present, crossing musical genres from his Disco to deep electronic Afro-tech and Broken-beats.

REMI VIBESMAN

Remi Vibesman has worked professionally as a recording artist and DJ with influential releases.
More recently known as the founder of HiddenBeach, promoting music as diverse as Afrobeat, Brazilica, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Disco & House, working with both local and international artists and DJs.



BAD M***A FUNKER

Bad M***a Funker has been working hard to put Hastings back on the map and more recently has presented Legends On Sea, as series of events inspired fom Libby's DJ connections spanning 3 decades in the music industry.

In the last 12 months she has supported some of her idols, Incognito, MF Robots , Mica Paris , Snowboy and Macy Gray delivering an eclectic set of driving funky beats, underground Disco and Latin Licks.

is proud have as part of our line up on Bank Holiday weekend 26th -28th May 2023. Kim Cosmik started as a DJ for free party soundsystems Sprial Tribe and Bedlam and DJs at festivals and clubs all over the U.K and Europe. She was one of the first women to play at the ledgendary Knowledge club in London and has also played at the Miami music festival.

In 1993 Kim Cosmik formed her own label, Void Records with fellow band member Chantelle Platter in partnership with Hotmix / Bunker records in Holland where they released two singles then and were later signed to Matador / EMI releasing a further 3 singles.

Kim Cosmik and Chantelle also created aliases, DJ Siren and Blaze, playing and releasing drum and bass with Spectrum Audio / Alphamagic and also had a track remixed by Dylan (Therapy Records).

Kim Cosmik has played with many amazing artists such as Lory D, Leo Anibaldi, Colin Dale, Serge Clone, Aleksi Perala, Andy Turner, B12, Radioactiveman, Jumping Jack Frost, Mickey Finn, Liberator, Dave The Drummer, Syrte and many more. She has has recently played at clubs such as Fold, Electroweks, The Glove That Fits and Iklecktic in London as well as About Blank in Berlin, Shambala Festival and many regular events in Hastings where she lives.

Kim Cosmik is currently a resident at Threads Radio, Aaja Radio and Techno Club Net online as well as her own event, Hybrid which she launched in 2019. She also has a new monthly event at the Trinity Townhouse in Hastings called Atomic which she started with fellow resident DJ Aaron Liberator.

Kim Cosmik releases music through her label, Cybersoul on Bandcamp as well as with a variety of labels such as Science Cult, 2020 Vision Recordings, Diffuse Reality, Touched Music, Section 27, Bass Agenda, Zwaartekracht and many more including a new album about to be released on vinyl by Reposition Records. Look out for many more events and releases in 2023!
