Metalcafe live this Friday at De Vorstin in Hilversum.

Also present was Tim from Man as Plague whom are playing So What! Gouda THIS Friday. Which was put up by our friends at Live Hard Bookings. Follow Tim for all things Plague fest.

Wout from Bredius Brutality has a new line-up ready for June 15 in Woerden. Amongst the line-up is MENACER which features Freek, whom does vocals for REFORMIST and represented both at HEAVY. Missed his feature at TIGERKNIFE ?

REFORMIST is about to fire on some new material 👀

It has been two weeks since the last show of our first tour and we miss it so much 🥹 the amazing people, the great venues, the good vibes, the beautiful cities, the people who became a fan of our music, and of course all the laughs and fun we had.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to take this first European tour. It's motivating us to keep on going, there is no stopping us. We are working hard on new things: there will be new music very soon. For the people who were at our show last Sunday, you know what's coming. For everyone else: keep an eye on us 👀

Act four: REFORMIST is a modern Metal formation from Eindhoven & Rotterdam.

With the release of their EP Reform, Rebuild they quickly conquered the Netherlands. Playing stages like 013 Tilburg, Patronaat Haarlem and Melkweg Amsterdam. Being support for For I Am King and tearing down festivals like Asgard metalfest & Metalyardfest.

After the release of their singles Hivemind/Oblivion they kept on expanding. This month will see them going on tour through Europe for the first time and later this year they'll play the festival Baroeg Open Air.

It is our pleasure to announce to announce that Reformist will be the headliner for this edition of Nieuwegein HEAVY.

A birdy told us that new material is in the works too.

Act three: Salvage is coming in bittersweet as this show will be their last with 3/5th of the band.

The 5-piece Metalcore band from Leiden dropped Death Sentence just days ago. The first single for their upcoming record. This sets the tone for a heavy yet emotional ride.

With the release of their first singles and the As Above, So Below EP, Salvage was picked up by the scene immediately. Which saw them playing shows throughout our whole country.

Act two: TIGERKNIFE is THE Rotterdam 4-piece Hardcore band ready to bring the heat.

With Hypoesthesia Tigerknife came crashing through the gates, embarking on shows throughout the Netherlands and neighbouring countries. Only to step up their game last year with Prying Eyes. Leaving an even bigger trail of destruction.

What about this year? Suprise. Their year started with the release of the Rotterdam Split EP with MENACER, more shows, Germany in sight and also this third edition of Nieuwegein HEAVY.

First act: Loyalty Ends Here is a 5-piece Metalcore formation from Haarlem and currently on the rise.

After selling out a show in Hilversum they've released their single Testament, won the Metalbattle in 2023, played festivals like Eindhoven metalmeeting, Baroeg open air and Zeeltjerock. Only to garner the attention of acts such as Distant and For I Am King.

Recently they've released their new single Deadweight, accompanied by a videoclip.

There ain't no stopping them now, because on May 18 they have their EP release.

If you like a sound and style that is reminiscent of acts such as Trivium, Lamb Of God and As I Lay Dying, you don't want to miss out on this edition of Nieuwegein HEAVY.
