MAIN ACT: Man as Plague is a ferocious heavy hitter from Hoorn. They took Death Metal and Hardcore, threw in samples, synths and bring an energy that could rival bands like Hatebreed and Suicidal Tendencies. Exactly this can be heard on their latest release ''Titanomachy'' which landed them a show supporting Soulfly in last July.

Their previous endeavours saw Man As Plague supporting bands such as Na**lm Death, Unearth and Crowbar. Proving them capable of holding their own, gaining fans from both modern and old school crowds.

Sons of Node: Formerly known as Sativa, is a Sludge/Stoner power-trio from Utrecht that's been around the block. Technically their fifth, and latest release, 'Deadlock', showed the band more focussed than ever and delivered some powerfull, roaring tunes including guest features from The Dead South and The Midnight Ghost train. Over their career they have shared the stage with acts such as The Midnight Ghost Train, Stoned Jesus, Karma
to Burn and Kamchatka. The self-released 2016 EP Ode to the End was received well and was the
foundation of the band’s first UK and Benelux tour. The band has been involved with us since before we became Nieuwegein HEAVY. It is our pleasure to announce and include them in our current endeavours and have them crush our little town once again.

Lustobject: From the depths of Utrecht spawned a three-piece Black Metal monster. This young group characterize themselves as 'Mentaal defect, fysiek perfect' and refers to their music as 'bodemgruis'. In their short carreer the band has been support for bands like Noctem, Dudsekop & Asgrauw. Now they will kickoff HEAVY IV on November 30 at De Partner Nieuwegein

FIRST ACT: Disminded. Death/Thrashers from Wesel, Germany. Last year saw the release of their fourth record 'The Vision'. Which was produced by Harris Johns whom is known for his work with Kreator, S***m and Helloween amongst others. Since it's release, Disminded has shared the stage with acts such as: Jungle Rot, Crypta and Heathen. This year, they are part of Nieuwegein HEAVY IV - 4 Bands TBA.
