Insanely proud to post this!
Im honored to have helped my long time homie, DJ teacher, and brother (one of superstars) sign his first record, ‘Come Alive’ with 🔥
A lot of locals tell me they want to start producing House Music, until they see the time, energy, failures, and rejection that come along with it, but Joe (DJ Tomb) kept pushing through. He came to the studio weekly, we put together a plan, and found the perfect label for his track to grow with.
Joe put the ego aside, and took the time to learn how to write, arrange, and fully produce House tracks in 1 session (sometimes it takes people MONTHS to finish one song!)
2 months in to producing House Music and we got him on one of Brazils hottest Deep House labels for TWO SONGS! 🔥 …there’s no magic pill, just putting in the time 💪🏾

So damn proud to make this post. Proud to call this dude my best friend + a brother. Proud to call him my first House Music production student. I took him on as a student 3 months ago, and in only 3 months, he didn’t sign just one track, but 3️⃣! For a 3 track EP! But even if he’s my student, I didn’t do this for him. This was his hard work and dedication EVERY DAY! Here’s to many more brother 🙏🏾 keep pushing! congrats team, you guys have yourself a dope artist!

Quick recap of our sold out event last month under our collective, ‘V18E’ (Vibe One Eight). “House On The Hudson” was an amazing success, nothing but great music, great people, and great atmosphere. Everything fit in to place perfectly, from the dope DJ lineup of Myself, and the legend himself , we couldn’t have asked for a better turn out for our first event.

🌴 ARE YOU DOING THESE THINGS? 🌴 Here’s how I stay motivated, and continually improve my workflow 🚀 1. Exercise Regularly - This can come in any shape or form. Cardio, lifting weights, yoga, dancing, whatever keeps you moving and healthy. Weight lifting & Dancing are my main 2! 2. Meditate Daily - I am NOT saying you need to sit in stillness in a lotus position. Meditation can be personal, whatever brings you calmness and self awareness. For me, meditation looks like; going to get my morning coffee, and sitting in my car taking sips while taking in some sun, as well as taking an hour walk everyday, or dancing. These set my mood for the day. 3. Take breaks - I always see the “12 hour in the studio” posts. That’s great once in a while. But you will burn out…burn out can be physically, mentally, emotionally, which will impact your relationships on different levels. For me, taking breaks looks like; vacation, spending time with family & friends, or watching anime. 4. Be ACTIVE in your local scene - Want support? Want people to listen to your music, come out to your events, spend money on your tickets? Why would they do that if they don’t know you on any level? A “🔥” on someone’s IG story does not equal active support 🙅🏾♂️ show your face, show some love, make some friends & connections. You’ll be surprised how many people in the area are on a similar journey as you. Did I miss any important tips? 🤔 let me know down below! 👇
