Friday we stopped by The Elizabeth Fire Department to thank the brave first responders for their heroic work. 70 years ago the brave Fire Fighters from Elizabeth rushed to the scene of the plane crash to try and save lives.

My grandmother was pulled from her burning home by a brave first responder.

Happy Sunday and a warm welcome to all the new faces that joined the page this weekend.

Yesterday was the 70-year anniversary of the tragic plan crash that took my grandmothers life in 1952.

This is a photo of the love letter The Mrs. Clutch brand was inspired by.

It was estimated that my grandfather wrote over a thousand love letters to my grandmother during their 30-year marriage.

This ONE letter must have been her favorite because she carried it in her purse (in the little zipper pocket) every day for over 30 years.
