Kids interested in learning devil sticks get your first set from Raintree Roots tons of fun and hundreds of tricks to learn

Kids of Flow!
These girls were so excited to learn about flowerstix! They also really just wanted the basics then they wanted to explore the prop on their own, which is TOTALLY OKAY!!! Sometimes it's fun and enlightening to see what the prop has to show us. Many times I've seen kids come up with tricks I've never seen before. If you have an open mind, often times there is many things the kids can teach us because they have no preconceived notions of what a prop should and should not do. As long as they aren't hurting anyone or the prop, let them play, let them explore, let them experiment and learn through curiosity. They may come up with the next new line of tech tricks you never even thought of.
Watching kids play with props always makes my soul smile. I love seeing families share movement arts by playing and learning together. Flow arts can help kids learn to focus. Movement props can help them connect with how dedicated play (sometimes called practice) can increase their skills.
