Simple Puff puff Recipe

List of ingredients

Flour 500g
Sugar 90g
Yeast 1tbs
Salt 1 tsp
Baking powder 1/2 tsp (optional)
Flavour of choice (nut meg, vanilla or cinnamon)
Water 2 cups or less ( use lukewarm water or room temperature water)
Vegetable oil
Kitchen tissue ( to help absorb excess oil)

Method:
In a dry bowl,pour in your sieved flour,sugar,salt ,yeast, baking powder, dry powdered flavour or milk.
Mix with clean hands or use a ladle to stir together. Add your water in bits while you mix together with your palm or the ladle,mix till you get a smooth consistency not too thick and not runny.
Cover to proof for 35 -40 minutes.
Heat up your vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot. Scoop into the oil and fry till golden brown.
Take out of oil into your kitchen tissue,then serve with preferred drink.

The Carpenter's Church my local assembly, turned 34 on the 7th of July,2024. We had the privilege of catering for two Family Follow Up groups. It was glorious from the worship, Tccubs ,Teen church,New Wine Choir , the Word etc.
