Sarah and Josh were my last wedding as Tricia Jamiol Photography and I seriously couldn't have asked for a more perfect couple on a more perfect day! We started at the cover bridge, caught a ride on the chair lifts to the Peak Lodge at Sunday River and everyone partied and danced the night away while celebrating the love that Sarah and Josh have for one another. The surprise firework ending was icing on the cake! Sarah and Josh, a huge congratulations to you!

Kelly and Matt had a wedding to remember at Live Well Farm in Harpswell, Maine. Their day was filled with love, laughter and a special gender reveal. I was so happy to be able to document their day for them and wish them nothing but the best. Congrats Kelly and Matt!

18 of the last 24 hours has been spent photographing my two last weddings as a company. A HUGE thank you to all of my clients, assistants, second shooters and countless family, friends, and supporters throughout the past 8 years who have been with me along this ride. It’s been magical!

COVID has thrown my photography business for a loop this year. Like many, my plans for this year went sideways, so instead of photographing weddings and families I spent time learning how to create resin and alcohol ink art. I started a new Instagram over at .designs where I update as art becomes available for purchase. I met Valkyrie (aka Bridget) almost two and a half years ago as we both started out as "fresh muscle" in Maine Roller Derby, so it was an absolute honor that she and Ryan asked me to photograph their wedding day this past weekend. They got hitched at the Stage Neck Inn in York, Maine with their family and loved ones who traveled from near and far. Their wedding day was filled with humor, love, and lots of laughter and I couldn't have been happier to document it for them. Congratulations to you both!!

There’s something pretty special about documenting a friend’s wedding day... I met Lauren years ago when I still lived in Massachusetts. Naturally, I was thrilled to hear she and Jeff wanted me to photograph their wedding! Lauren and Jeff got married at the Whitney Farm Estate in Oxford, Maine on the perfect fall day surrounded by friends, family and beautiful fall foliage. The sunset was absolutely phenomenal and the party went on for hours. I’m so incredibly honored to have been given the opportunity to capture their wedding day! Congratulations Lauren and Jeff!

Megan and Katherine got married on a beautifully sunny September afternoon at Oxbow Brewing Company in Portland, Maine. A first look in front of Portland's City Hall started off their wedding day, which included a stroll around the Old Port, family photos at the Eastern Prom and finally a ceremony at Oxbow Brewing Company in front of family and friends. I had such a wonderful time documenting their day and wish them nothing but the best! Congratulations Megan and Katherine!

Missy and Joe got married at the beautifully quaint Popham Chapel in Phippsburg, Maine. Their guests were able to walk to the cocktail hour and reception at the Stonehouse Manor while Missy and Joe headed to the Fort Popham to take photos in the Civil War-era fort. Guests left with prints of Missy's own paintings for a wonderfully perfect touch to this gorgeous and love-filled wedding. Congratulations Missy and Joe!

Joyce and Brendan turned the Ocean Point Marina into an a fun oceanfront wedding venue for their Boothbay, Maine wedding this past weekend. I don't think I've ever had such a fun trolley ride with this awesome group of people who truly love Joyce and Brendan and came to celebrate such a wonderful love between two fantastic people. Lindsey and Brady tied the knot right on the water in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The camp-like laidback coastal setting of Linekin Bay Resort was the perfect backdrop for this couple with true Maine roots. One of the best things about being a wedding photographer is that you can photograph your friends weddings! I ended my 2018 season with Jess and Dan who got hitched in Bath, Maine the weekend before Christmas in an intimate ceremony decorated with all of the shiny goodness of Christmas. I was thrilled to be able to capture the magic of their relationship for them on their wedding day. Congratulations Jess and Dan!

I just adore small, intimate weddings! Janice and Damon got married in the presence of their family and friends at the Angel of the Berwicks in North Berwick, Maine on a crisp fall day this past weekend. I have one word for this wedding: FUN! Maggie and Ben, who I shot last year for their engagement session, were all about having fun with each other and their family and friends. Their love for each other was so fun to capture... From the "chondola" ride up Sunday River to the blazing sunset that ended the day, these two, as well as myself, had a blast! Congratulations Maggie and Ben!

Caitrin and Eric got married at Point Lookout in Northport, Maine this past weekend. The timing between downpours was absolutely perfect and allowed for a unique fog-filled outdoor ceremony. Despite the rain and fog, Caitrin and Eric were all smiles throughout their celebration with family and friends and I was absolutely delighted to capture it all for them.

A little rain didn't put a damper on their wedding day in Phippsburg, Maine! Vanessa and Alex chose to get married at the Stonehouse Manor because Vanessa spent time at Popham Beach growing up. Their wedding was filled with so much joy, fun, love, and laughter. They really wanted to spend as much time as possible with all of their guests and focused all of their energy on just being in the moment. I was so happy I could help capture those moments for them! Oh, does it feel good to be shooting weddings again! I'm so happy I got to start my 2018 season off with Abby and Dave's beaaautiful wedding at Granite Ridge Estate & Barn in Norway, Maine. These two hail from New Jersey and came all the way up to Maine to get married because they loved the peacefulness of it all. What better place than being cliff side overlooking the White Mountains? Their day was perfect all around, especially with the rain holding off until after the ceremony. Congratulations Abby & Dave! I'm so happy I got to work with you both!

I hope everyone had a safe and hopefully WARM new years! Happy 2018!!

This is the first year where I am deliberately setting goals for myself. I typically don't do the whole "new years resolution" stuff, but because I've been working hard personally at becoming more healthy, spending more quality time with those I love and working hard to accomplish difficult goals (roller derby!) last year, I thought I'd bring it on into 2018 as well and continue the trend. This year I am looking forward to growing my photography business and working with wonderful clients. I'm hoping to stay on top of this social media thing so people can get to know who I am personally, rather than just the face of the business. I'm also hoping to have great adventures this year with my clients. I am so looking forward already to the weddings I have booked in 2018 (can it be the summer yet?!) and can't wait to see who else out there will be joining me. It was a very white Christmas this year so plans had to be cancelled and fuzzy blankets and hunkering down in front of the fireplace happened instead. I hope every one of you have a wonderful and merry Christmas!
