Steph and Nicks wedding was a wedding I will never forget, not only for the amazing couple they are or the stunning flowers, or beautiful bridesmaids dresses or even the killer band or for the overall gorgeousness of the event, it was a wedding where I could not be more thankful for an unbelievable vendor team. When a huge September storm hit quite unexpectedly, keeping guests dry and safe and the cocktail hour and reception on track was no easy feat. But when you have the best team and it is a team in every sense of the word, you can rest assured that even when in a sail cloth tent on the river in the eye of a storm, your wedding will still be perfect!

Heyo! Happy Thursday everyone, I rarely show my face around here, honestly I rarely post lol! But I thought this is the perfect time to do so because we just had new headshots taken by the very talented . Already the 2024 season has been off the charts, with 40 incredible events this year we have been working hard to play hard! And I cannot wait to share some of the amazing weddings and events that we have been working on. PLUS I am so excited to finally begin introducing you to the newly expanded Clover Hill team! Pretty in pink! While the rain drove us inside for Zara and Ryan’s wedding day, her choices of soft pinks and light wood tones was perfect to bring warmth to a rainy day. Let’s talk decor! A venue cannot be the sole provider of your event look. I have heard so many times “our venue is pretty on its own”. Your venues may have gorgeous rooms and mantles or beautiful bookshelves, but what is going on these bookshelves, what is going on top of the mantles? What about your welcome table or dessert table? Embrace the space! Whether using our rentals or others we plan for all the spaces, all the elements and all the feels. We not only want your event to be beautiful but we want it to feel personalized. Happy almost weekend! And the first week of February! I know I say this every year but I am always amazed with how fast time flies! We are kicking off our wedding season this weekend with Carolyn and Prateek and so excited to celebrate with them!

I posted a little video in the stories today about taking “small bites” Weddings can be an overwhelming planning process, lots of executive decisions to make, it’s a large investment and it’s a celebration that will include most of your family and friends. To boot we live in a world focused on click bait, Pinterest and social media influences. Making all the decisions for your wedding can be very overwhelming to some, my suggestion, small bites! Make your lists, mark them in order of importance, todays tasks, this weeks tasks and this months tasks. Do not look at the entire list every day! Work with your planner on a focus list. When and if things get overwhelming listen to my girl and count down from 5. Take a breath and let yourself know you are doing an incredible job! Your lists will get smaller and your day will be beautiful! And most important hire experienced vendors who you can rely on and you know have your back! To all my clients I am so proud of you and wanted to let you all know your killin it! Now give yourself a high five you deserve it!

Ok! Temps today hit 77! What?!? Today’s amazingly warm weather has me crazy eager for spring and dreaming about warm days, stunning sunset colored florals, fruity cocktails and all the good vibes! Chelsea and Scott’s wedding had all those things and more. From welcome to goodbye guests were treated with live accordion music, delicious old world Italian family style eats and not an empty wine glass in sight!
