The base to my Vodka Rigatoni simmering. For me, it’s not as simple as just mixing some cream and crushed tomatoes together. I like building layers of bold flavors. It’s how I do it, you can’t cut corners IMO. The legendary phrase for Italian food is always “simple ingredients “ which is true but it doesn’t mean the food needs to taste simple. You can still build bold flavors thru the layers you construct . At least in my world that’s how I think . I want to knock your socks off when you enjoy my food.
