Let’s talk wedding planners….
Let’s talk about venue wedding planners vs a hired wedding planner. Venue coordinators or planners, which are often included in your package, are awesome to help you coordinate those things that directly align with your venue; things like arrival timing of vendor set up and details. But there are more pieces to the wedding puzzle that a hired wedding planner will cover. It’s nice to have the option to have a planner whose interest is yours and not solely your venue’s. In essence your wedding planner should be vendor/venue agnostic. Helping procure the right vendors and manage them, communicate with your wedding party, manage your rehearsal dinner, review all of your vendor contracts, manage your guest and wedding party lodging and transportation, provide best practice recommendations and industry insights and even pack your car the night of your wedding. The net/net is that just because you have a venue wedding planner does not preclude you from hiring an additional wedding planner. Both planners can happily co-exist and thrive together and really help you pull off a truly stress-free flawless Exquisite Event.
