We hope everyone is enjoying the summer but....fall is approaching and will be here before you know it! 🍂 We can't wait until Saturday, October 5th at 4:30pm for our Flowers Blooming Ministry Bonfire Party and Chili Cookoff for our wonderful special needs families. We will have a trophy and chef hat ready for the winner. We will have fun, fellowship, uplifting prayer, pumpkin decorating, bingo and smores! 🤗 If you haven't already let us know by mid september in our messenger group chat if you will be coming so we can have a count for food! If you'd like to volunteer to help inbox us on our page or contact TaNaa Griffin by email [email protected]. We look forward to this event and seeing everyone again!! ❤️

We had an amazing time at our Flowers Blooming Events Ministry Summer Sports Party this year! God blessed us with a fun time of fellowship and some good weather. We look forward to our next event in the fall with our wonderful special needs caregivers, friends, loved ones, and family. We praise God to be able to come together for 5 years now and we are grateful and praying for more years to come. God bless you all and Have a Blessed Father's Day Weekend. It's Autism Awarness Month! Take the time to show love to our amazing brothers and sisters with Autism and their families! We Love You! If you see a child, teen, young adult, or adult with Autism in public that may be struggling, having behavior issues, having severe reactions to their environment, or having an anxiety attack please don't stare at them. Instead assure their parent or caregiver that everything will be okay. Learn ways to help calm the situation or offer help in a loving way to support them. Let's be mindful and continue to make every environment Autism and Sensory friendly: public bathrooms, churches, restaurants, businesses, theme parks, companies etc.!

Happy Tuesday from The Flowers Blooming Ministry! We are so excited for Our next Flowers Blooming Ministry Event next year in 2024. When we have a date we will let everyone know asap. It will be all about Team Spirit. We will be rocking our favorite sports team apparel while we have so much fun, games, positive fellowship, and good snacks and food!! All our ministry events are free and are for uplifting, praying for, and supporting special needs families. This will be another a fun time of unity and encouragement with our wonderful special needs families. We have an annoucement coming from The Council on Developmental Disabilities. If you're free on Saturday, December 9th at 6pm The Council on Developmental Disabilities will be throwing their 70th Anniversary Party. Tickets are $20 to attend. Join the Council as we celebrate 70 years as an organization! Let us pay homage to our past and help us look forward to our bright future!

The Churchill Park School will be having a Fall Festival on Sunday October 22nd from 2pm to 5pm for The Special Needs Community ( families, caregivers, cls workers, respite workers) ! A fun time of fellowship great chili and smores with our awesome special needs familes, caregivers, and friends was awesome. The loving presence of God was surely dwelling with us as we reflect on seasons changing in our lives and holding on to God through them. Our First Flowers Blooming Ministry Summer Carnival was a success. A special thank you to our ministry partners Laura and Patrick Abell, all our volunteers, our face painter Cassie Wimberly, and Our photographer Khalia Goatley. We had a fun time with much love and fellowship with some wonderful special needs families and caregivers. Our next event will be our bonfire party coming in October. Well keep yoi posted! As we reflect over this year we are so grateful for the love and support given to our Flowers Blooming Events Ministry. We were able to have 2 wonderful events this year for special needs families! We had fun in the sun with our summer cookout and enjoyed smores in the fall along with sharing God's love and fellowship at our first bonfire party. We are so excited for 3 events next year 2023!! We look forward to having our First Flowers Blooming Fun Fair for Special Needs Families and Caregivers in The Spring, Our Summer cookout, and Bonfire party in the fall! We will have dates and details coming soon! We look forward to showering our wonderful special needs families with love, prayer, support, and to have fun events for you all to look forward too every year! God bless all of you!
