Greetings one and all. Its been a very long time and we hope that you are all safe and well navigating these choppy waters. Over the past year we have been thinking out how best to push DIU forwards provide that spiritual upliftment and nourishment.

Christopher P Dewey will be speaking about Dub It Up as part of the SoundSystem Outernational Conference on Wednesday 14th July.

The talk will be held online and free to attend via an EventBrite or YT live stream. There's loads of great things happening at SSO #7 from film screenings, to keynote speakers and live streamed sessions from around the world.

To celebrate the realisation of our Dub It Up dream in 2019 we proudly announce the DUB IT UP DUBPLATE COMPETITION.

Music producers and performers are invited to submit tracks for consideration to [email protected] by 4th December 2019 to be in with a chance of winning the competition and having their track played on Saturday 14th December at Dub It Up Part 6, BASSment Studios, Huddersfield, HD1 3LG.

The winner will receive 2 free tickets to the event and a copy of their track pressed on to vinyl 7 inch courtesy of Continuum Dubplate and Mastering Services .

All submissions will be anonymously assessed by a panel of judges with the results of the competition released on 7th December 2019.

Competition Rules:
Tracks must be no more than 4 minutes in length

Track should be either:
1) an original recording/production/dub or
2) original vocal/instrumental performance recorded on top of a riddim.

Tracks should be submitted as a high quality stereo .wav file or .MP3 and emailed to [email protected] before the 4th December deadline.
