RIDGE

Alex Ridge (RIDGE) first went on a pair of decks at the age of 19 and was instantly hooked. His love of all forms of electronic music paired with his regular attendance of underground parties and events across the North East have led to his desire to continually improve his own mixing and selection skills with ultimate aim of making people dance and lose themselves on the dance floor.

In 2019, without any experience of promoting, managing or even being involved in the events sector, he co-founded the successful Teesside music series BLEND, putting on two headline events in the first four months. These events surpassed all expectations of what an independent event brand could achieve in such a short space of time.

Following the excitement surrounding his own events in Teesside and making a name for himself in the Newcastle scene, RIDGE has gone on to play for some of the most well known brands and venues in the North East with Kitchen Sync, Block Party, MODE, RiffRaff, Wonky Sessions, Subzero Sessions, The Dickens and The Keys all being firmly on the list.
