RIDGEmusic RIDGE is a 21 year old DJ/Producer based in the North East, he has played at many well known events across Teesside and Newcastle.

In 2019 RIDGE co-founded the successful electronic music event series - BLEND, for which he manages and is resident DJ.

Alex Ridge (RIDGE) first went on a pair of decks at the age of 19 and was instantly hooked. His love of all forms of electronic music paired with his regular attendance of underground parties and events across the North East have led to his desire to continually improve his own mixing and selection skills with ultimate aim of making people dance and lose themselves on the dance floor.
In 2019, without any experience of promoting, managing or even being involved in the events sector, he co-founded the successful Teesside music eries BLEND, putting on two headline events in the first four months. These events surpassed all expectations of what an independent event brand could achieve in such a short space of time.
Following the excitement surrounding his own events in Teesside and making a name for himself in the Newcastle scene, RIDGE has gone on to play for some of the most well known brands and venues in the North East with Kitchen Sync, Block Party, MODE, RiffRaff, Wonky Sessions, Subzero Sessions, The Dickens and The Keys all being firmly on the list.
RIDGE has featured on lineups alongside a mix of well known names as well as some underground favourites, having supported Richy Ahmed, Derrick Carter, Big Miz, re:ni, Secondcity, Melé, REES, Cloonee and Al Kent.
Being able to play at events that feature artists along the whole spectrum of electronic music show RIDGE’s ability to always select and mix in an exciting way for any crowd he is placed in front of.
As of 2020, RIDGE has ventured into producing his own tracks and developing his own sound that brings together all his experiences both as a raver and a DJ over the past 2 years.
This is just the start of the journey for RIDGE...
