Alfie Hodgson is a young working class hero from the depths of Cumbria, he is a well established local musician and now an upcoming legend on the mod and soul scene. He plays the best records and looks cool doing it.
His main influences are Paul Weller, John Lennon and Suggs so you already know he will be playing some great records to move your feet too

One of our guest DJs this weekend Mr Isaac Lloyd.

Isaac mixes traditional with contemporary, with his records varying from classic releases to more recent records. Even with his roots in northern soul, he loves to mix it with some added genres from Latin soul to funk and disco. He runs a night in Manchester under the name of Northern Grooves and no doubt he will keep the floor moving through out the night.

Our next night!! After a long awaited time we’re back and better than ever, this time at St Beghs Social Club 10th September 2022. Expect to hear the best of mod, Northern Soul, Motown, R&B and Ska all on vinyl. Tickets are £5 each and can be bought on the door. Guest Dj’s announced at a later date.

Hi my name is Richard charters, I live in Carlisle and had my first taste of soul music at the age of 14 , mainly youth club stuff.by the age of 16 had found the world of northern soul and was attending Wigan casino and various other nights up and down the country.I have always had a passion for collecting records (don’t do it 😂😂😂)this in turn lead to me playing at a few venues, eventually running my own nights in Carlisle, have never really classed myself as a DJ , just a lad that likes to share the music . To this day when certain records hit the decks its hairs on the back of the neck time , a feeling I honestly believe will never leave me , don’t keep the faith spread it 👍cheers richard

Happy new year everyone!
22 days to the launch of Beatin’ Rhythm Soul Club and the first guest DJ has been announced. Mr Joe Marcangelo will be doing a set.

From a young age Joe started to collecting an eclectic mix of records and started to DJ, this led him in 2014 to start the successful Atlantic Soul club in Whitehaven . After moving to Manchester Joe became a resident DJ of A Taste Of Honey soul club.

Leading from ATOH he got to play the rare and underplayed room at New Century Soul club All-night in Manchester. Around this time he also got to DJ the Algarve Northern soul Weekender in Portugal.

Late in 2015 he got to DJ as support for the band Cast at the Engine Shed Lincoln. This led to Joe starting a successful indie events called Shot Thru Presents in Manchester at various local venues.

Joe also DJ'ed the Pre & Aftershow events for bands including Stone Roses,Noel Gallagher, Madness and more.

Joe went back to DJing Progressive House,Deep House ,house and got to support and play Aftershow parties for DJ's Danny Howells, Dimitry Molosh,Sasha,Anthony Pappa and many more.
