When designing bouquets, mirrors and pictures are your best friend! It is key to seeing what the blooms will look like to the viewers eye.

Flower deliveries are a unique experience if you’ve never gone through it before. Dozens of flowers are packaged tightly in corrugated wrapping. There are 700+ roses in those boxes along with spray roses, greenery, and filler flowers. All of the stems have to be cut and immediately placed in water. After revitalizing the tired blooms the corrugated wrap comes off and the fun begins!

Hi!! I am Mari-Beth Baker Moore, the crazy lady who decided to do her own wedding flowers. You heard it right, I ordered, prepped, designed, and created all of the arrangements at my OWN wedding!

It’s funny really. My friends would all laugh at this endeavor because I’ve always said I didn’t like getting fresh flowers. My excuse? “They always die”. They do die, but I think the real problem is that I’m a flower snob and always have been. You see, I took quite a few plant design classes in college and always knew just a little more than I should have. The Walmart bouquets just never did it for me— I wanted more! Hence the creation, Moore Blooms.

I fell in love with the art of floral design all over again on my wedding weekend. I knew in that instant (along with all of my friends and family) that this was something I had to pursue. I’d love for you to follow along with my journey!
