Green chutney .
green chutney recipe - mildly sweet and lightly tangy green chutney made from coriander and mint.
Servings: 3 -4
Ingredients (measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml)
¾ cup coriander leaves (dhania patta)
¼ cup mint leaves (pudina patta)
1 green chili (hari mirch)
2-3 garlic (lahsun)
½ tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon organic unrefined cane sugar or normal sugar as required
black salt as required
How to prepare recipe
rinse the coriander leaves and the mint leaves well in water.
chop the green chilli and the garlic roughly.
add all the ingredients in a blender or a chutney grinder with some water.
the quantity of water can be adjusted as per your liking. but don't make the chutney very thin.
blend everything well till smooth.
serve the green chutney with indian snacks like samosa, pakora, tikki or dabeli.
you can also apply this green chutney on sandwiches and burgers.

rose lassi recipe - fragrant, refreshing and cooling lassi made with fresh curd, rose petals and rose syrup.

Ingredients (measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml)
1.5 cups fresh curd (dahi or yogurt)
1 cup chilled water or ½ cup water + 6 to 8 ice cubes
10 to 12 dried rose petals or 5 to 6 fresh edible rose petals
1 to 2 teaspoon rose water
3 tablespoon rose syrup
2 to 3 tablespoon sugar or add as required
1 tablespoon chopped or sliced dry fruits like pistachios (pista), almonds (badam) or cashews (kaju)
How to prepare recipe
take 1.5 cups fresh chilled curd in a mixer or blender jar.
add 1 cup chilled water, 10 to 12 dried rose petals or 5 to 6 fresh rose petals, 1 to 2 tsp rose water and 3 tbsp rose syrup. i did not add ice cubes, hence added 1 cup water. if adding ice cubes then add 1/2 cup water
blend everything till smooth and till the lassi becomes frothy.
pour in glasses and serve rose lassi with some sliced or chopped dry fruits like almonds, pistachios or cashews.
