Dear Nurse A // Birth Story

Three years ago today, my dear friend Jenna Marie met her twin boys Ryder and Grady for the first and last time. She and her husband experienced an unimaginably terrible loss. But in the midst of the worst night of her life, God sent a sweet angel on earth to be by Jenna's side. This is the story of their incredible reunion. I can't even begin to explain how honored I am that Jenna chose me to tell her story. So much love for those boys and their momma.

Ok, so, I know I say it every time, but I think this might be my most favorite film! Allison and Cory and their love are just something else. Although the details of the day were gorgeous, you'll notice there isn't much footage of them in the film... it's because the day was truly made up of the most incredible moments. My favorite part of the whole day was probably the reception, because the newlyweds spent the entire night on the dance floor together! You'll hear it over and over in the toasts, but these two are absolutely soulmates. And how adorable that her maiden name is his first name?! Ok, I'll stop gushing now so you can watch it already!

Yesterday was probably the second best day of my life, only behind my own wedding day. Yesterday, I got to stand beside my sister-in-law as she said, "I do" to her Prince Charming. Being her Matron of Honor was truly one of the greatest joys of my life. The beginning of their forever was nothing short of magical. From the love to the family, the weather to the details, the fireworks to the late-night Whataburger - everything was perfect. // As a vendor, it was a so great getting to be around such an incredible team... Today marks four years since began. Grateful doesn't even begin to describe my heart. But I'm a lover of words, so I'll try. I'm grateful for God's blessing and guidance, for my husband who said, "Heck yes!" when I asked if I could quit my job and buy lots of equipment for a venture I wasn't sure would even work, for the constant encouragement and support of family and friends, for the couples who trust me with their love stories, for the vendors-turned-bffs I've made along the way, for the mentors who didn't turn me down when I asked a billion questions, and again for the folks who trust me to tell their stories. Lots has changed in four years, but the heart behind this little dream remains the same: real moments, real emotion, real love. (And also the fact that I still smile like a lunatic all day... except for when I'm crying like a lunatic during the dances.)

When it's at its best, I believe marriage is the closest earthly representation we have of God's unconditional, unending, and unwavering love. 💏 3) I love small southern towns. Sweet & Soft Garden Style

My love for nature runs deep; from my maternal grandmother who was always pointing at the sky and picking up leaves, to my paternal grandmother who always sang me songs about loving and appreciating God's creation, to my parents who practically live outside in the yard, I have always felt such a connection to the earth and sky. Bok Tower Gardens was a place my family and I loved to visit when I was little, so when one of my favorite photographers asked me to join her in capturing an inspiration celebration there, it was a no-brainer!
