Το ανανεωμένο Urban Danja Crew γιορτάζει τα 18 του χρόνια και παρουσιάζει το Urbanάσταση, ένα multigenre rave event στην καρδιά της πόλης, στο Arch Club στον Βοτανικό. Μία ώρα μετά την "ανάσταση", οι Bass και Rave μουσικές μίας εκ των πιο ενεργών ομάδων της Αθήνας θα καλύψουν κάθε γούστο, με Dubstep, Wave, Drum&Bass, Electro και Techno. To Urban Danja Crew μεγαλώνει!
Καλωσορίζουμε στην ομάδα τον Αλέξανδρο (aka Breacz) και τον Ευθύμη (aka Type Zero), δύο άτομα με τα οποία έχουμε συνεργαστεί αρκετά τα τελευταία χρόνια, από τα Χανιά μέχρι την Σούγια, από τα clubs της Αθήνας μέχρι τα underground open raves. Μας ενώνει η αγάπη για την Bass & Rave μουσική σκηνή και όχι μόνο!

Ο Αλέξανδρος Κοσμάτος (aka Breacz) ξεκίνησε την ενασχόλησή του με το djing το 2014. Η αγάπη του για την Bass μουσική δεν περιορίζεται σε ένα είδος και θα τον ακούσετε να παίζει από Dubstep μέχρι Halfstep και Drum&Bass. Το 2015 ξεκίνησε το Inflex μαζί με φίλους, ένα project που τον έχει ταξιδέψει σε διάφορα μέρη της Ελλάδας, καθώς και σε πολλά underground μέρη της Αθήνας, όπως παραλίες, υπόγειες διαβάσεις και πανεπιστήμια. Έχει μοιραστεί την σκηνή με γνωστούς καλλιτέχνες και της Dubstep και της Drum&Bass σκηνής, όπως Getter (USA), Infekt (GER), Mrs Magoo (UK) και άλλους. Από το 2023 συμμετέχει στο ATH DNB UNITY ως διοργανωτής και γραφίστας, έχοντας παρουσιάσει στην Αθήνα τους Exept (IT) και CZA (UK).

Type Zero είναι το πρότζεκτ το οποίο ξεκίνησε το 2017 στα Χανια ο Ευθύμης Ανδρέου. Έχοντας ήδη ξεκινήσει σαν hip hop dj, οι μουσικές επιρροές του διευρύνθηκαν μέσα από την ηλεκτρονική σκηνή των Χανίων και γενικότερα της Κρήτης. Αρχικά με halftime και Dubstep και αργότερα με Jungle και Drum&Bass, ο Type Zero έχει διοργανώσει στα Χανιά DIY raves μαζί με άλλους τοπικούς djs , ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει σε events τοπικών ομάδων όπως Deleveled και Urban Danja (River Sessions, Levels, Sougia Bass κ.α.). Το 2022 επιστρέφει στην Αθήνα και μέχρι σήμερα είναι ενεργός στην ηλεκτρονική σκηνή της Αθήνας, σε events όπως τα ATH DNB UNITY καθώς επίσης και σε τοπικα μαγαζιά. Διατηρώντας ως βάση τα drum breaks συνεχίζει να διευρύνει τους ηχητικούς ορίζοντες του και σε άλλα μονοπάτια, προσθέτοντας στην παλέτα του επιρροές από electro και techno. Πέρα από DJ, ο Type Zero έχει ξεκινήσει μαζί με τον Unified Method την Bdrm Brdm, μια καλλιτεχνική σύμπραξη που στοχεύει να εκφραστεί με πολλά μέσα, από ήχο μέχρι design.

SKG's Dub Alliance - Elephant Bass [RGWS004]

SKG'S DUB ALLIANCE is a project formed by three friends: Big Shine (voc), Digital Monk and Lorrd. Coming from different musical projects (Rodes United - Moriginal Beats- Kako Synapantima) but with their love for Bass culture as a common denominator, they composed a dynamic trio with a high-energetic stage presence. They have released their work on various labels (Breathe Records (GR), Reggaewise (GR), Gradient Audio (USA) Dubtribu Records (UK), Iron Shirt Records, Dubophonic (CY) etc.) and their first EP "The Alliance" has received very positive reviews in the local press.

Performing in Greece and sharing the stage with great names of the local scene and from abroad (Dub Pistols, High Tone, Mad Proffessor, Dub Fx, Radikal Guru, Amit, Zion Train, Grounding, Alborosie, Dub Inc , Asian Dub Foundation, etc.), they set up a unique show during their live sessions, with a lot of bass, scratching and vocals/toasting, grabbing the public's attention.

"Elephant Bass" is their debut album and it is released on the greek label "Reggaewise", almost one and a half year after "The Alliance" EP. The LP was born out of the need of the crew for a more complete work, defining the way they perceive dub and stepper music. The album stands out from any previous releases, incorporating live drums combined with turntablism, percussion,live dub mix and with Big Shine delivering some powerful lyrical flow on the mic.

The 11 tracks of the LP stand true to SKG's Dub Allaince's motto of "delivering Bass Culture" to every corner of the planet. Once the elephant, the true king of the jungle, sets himself loose, then there is no stopping. Every one of his steps is like an earthquake, shaking the ground with deep vibrations, while his cry cuts through the silence like the revolutionary cry of a warrior. When the elephant marches towards you, take cover ..... especially if you are a Babylonian!
