Friday Introductions? I’m not sure how that is a thing but it is, so here I am! I am Kimberly and my husband (not in this video) is Colton and together we are Asheville Wedding Films! When you hire us, you will talk to me about all the little details that will make your video perfect for YOU, and Colton will be at your wedding doing what he does best, creating beautiful videos! I am his second shooter, Instagram poster, and of recent, editor! We have three lovely little ladies ages 1-5, who keep us pretty busy!
The lovely lady in this video with me is who, over the last year has become a good friend. If you need a photo/video team, we are a great option 😘

Welcome to Monday. How did your day start? Mine started with two kids getting up early (going back to bed after yelling at me that they weren’t tired🤦🏻‍♀️) and then I forgot a filter for my coffee maker and made a lovely mess all over my kitchen! It’s cloudy and dreary on our side of town too! While it seems all down, what I love is the birds. No matter the day, or weather, the birds always have a song. ❤️ I’m so glad I can hear them from my warm and cozy office.

Happy Friday! Sorting through over an hour and a half of dancing video from wedding and I came across this video! I will admit, a lot of the hour of dancing video is him! Isn’t he adorable!? Bonus for anyone who can guess what song they were dancing to!

At the end of our 4th of July celebration I realized I had taken no photos or video! So I grabbed the camera and took some video clips and a couple photos. Then I put them on the computer and decided these little girls were too cute not to share! Enjoy a minute from our families 4th! We hope you all had a great day celebrating with family and friends! .

🌟Teaser!🌟 I showed my daughter this clip and she said “no! Why did it stop? I want to see more!” Perfect 😜
Dads hold a special place in our (Colton and I) hearts because we know how blessed we are that we both have amazing dads! We were able to spend the day with my (Kimberly) dad and we’re thankful and excited that soon, our holidays will be spent with both of our families, together! To all the dads, whether biological or who have taken on someone who needed a dad, thanks for working hard, playing, loving, and being a presence in someone’s life. You are valued and needed!

We have loved getting to know the wedding vendor community and doing this styled shoot with Tiffany was an opportunity we had to meet lots! ( cut my hair yesterday because I met her at this shoot!) Getting married in WNC is amazing just because of all the vendors you will get to meet!

While we consistently maintain quality wedding videos, and pride ourselves on getting them done and to couples before our “deadline”, we focus more on real relationships and getting to know couples face to face before we always remember to post about it on social media. Which we love, and are thankful for these amazing platforms to share our work but people take up more of our time.
Like last week, we put our phones down, drove to Florida, and spent time with our kiddos and some family getting splashed by waves and soaking in the sun.

Victoria Grace Photography

We had so much fun getting to know Victoria Grace Photography! This is a promo video we did for Victoria to be able to show clients her style of shooting from behind the camera!

I sat down last night and realized I have shot at least 91 weddings (not counting working with Jen)- and that 2019 would be the year that I shoot my 100th!! That was pretty exciting new, and then I woke up to this promo vido by Asheville Wedding Films from the styled shoot at Taylor Ranch.

2019 is going to be a big year for this little business of mine, and I can't wait to spend it with more people like the ones who helped me pull this shoot off.

They made this video so that my future couples could see what it's "really" like to work with me - even in 24 degree temps and crazy winds (I mean, I don't always wear a snow suit jacket to work or rock crazy hair, but I will if I need to for a pretty picture).

Ah that “we’re finally married!” moment! I love the few seconds couples have alone before they are greeted by guests or off for group photos. It’s such a tender moment and I love being there to capture it!
